Lol. That's to monitor his child in the backseat. Mvi will have programming done where he can watch the camera while driving.

Opinions on black grille and headlights. I hit a deer and decided to change up the front while I had the chance. attachicon.gifIMG_1229.PNG

I think the headlights are terrible, but if you like them, that's all that matters...

Let there be more light...and a camera over my daughter's car seat. Can't complete the camera yet. I'm waiting on a module from MVI but hopefully I'll finish it soon.

Interesting, what kit is that?

Diode Dynamics RGB footwell kit. The camera is an Esky I bought off Amazon.

Edit: I'm having flickering issues when it dims out. I wired it to the dome lights. If I set it to a color like red it flickers, changes to white, then dims out smoothly. Does the same when set to white. Diode Dynamics said they didn't have a fix and they had seen this mainly in trucks.

I was just piddling around the shop. I installed the bed hooks that fit in the bed sides. They are really nice, got the frame plugs but started to think about rust issues. Might not be a problem, love the looks but gonna think about maybe treating inside the tubes.

I plan on shooting some fluid film the rails before installing my caps, also will RTV them in.

Very interesting and smart use case on the camera and MVI programming to see your little one on your front display. Like it!

That's awesome!! Where do you guys find all of these optional mirrors? Are they from other GM vehicles? I tried googling but I'm still not completely sure.

The mirror is from Camaro frameless with auto dim. you can find these on eBay.

You need the wire harness pop from Gen5DIY website to get it to work.

Installed Diablo i2 today. Installed the 91+ tune. Haven't really played with a lot the parameters yet but I will hopefully tomorrow. Truck feels 1000 pounds lighter... just drives so much better.

I do like what i have read. I looked it up online and the different parameter changes sound good. 2017 doesn't show available yet but I will stay tuned for the release of it.

Installed tow mirrors. need to get the info on making lights and blinkers work since I didn't have it on the original mirrors. I may just have someone do it for me.

Hit up member pgamboa pretty sure that's his name on here. He's making mirror harnesses that are plug and play. Mainly DL3-DL8 conversions but I bet he can get you sorted out

Thanks for all the followup to you both. I did not get power folding. I have these.

they are pictured in my profile pic. The truck is a 2015 GMC 2500HD SLE Model, I had power heated mirrors. no turn signal and no lights. When I first started researching at the dealer, they gave me a price of about 1800$ for the OEMs and they mentioned they would have to remap to make them work. Not sure if that is the case or not.

    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
