Opti-Coat Pro I'm guessing it's a clear coat over your paint.

A normal wash and wax is $80 I'm debating if I should just get my doors, box and flares clear vinyl wrapped for that much money.

I don't want trees to scratch my paint if I can prevent it for a couple hundred bucks I will, but I don't like sinking too much money into something that only loose value

i have the Zurich shield paint protection on mine. I've heard bad things about what I have, but figured to be safer than sorry and got the dealer to do it before I bought my truck. The guy gave me employee pricing if I'm not mistaken.

Lol. Detailing correctly isn't cheap. It's that "you get what you pay for". Paint correction takes lots of time and skill to be completed correctly. The paint has to be corrected before any clear bra is applied too, or the scratches underneath will be visible.

You can always find "that guy" that'll detail it cheap, but keep that in mind. Cheap. Anybody can throw a coat of wax on and mask swirls and holograms.

Ya I always give people this when they ask why something is expensive.

is it that it's not working or is it that in the last week they've decided to change things so if you want to have your pics displayed on a forum you have to now pay? they want me to pay $400/year so my pics to show up on this forum - ha! nope!

Just back from a 1800 mile round trip Louisiana to Indianapolis and back. Truck ran well, first real trip. So today I washed the truck and cleaned to interior. Then I rotated the tires and reset the TPMS. Changed the Oil and filter. Really like this new truck.

Changed the oil with Mobil 1 0W-20 and a Wix filter. Siphoned a gallon of transmission fluid out and added one gallon of transmission fluid back. Hauled the old oil off. Washed the truck. I also installed a Fumoto valve to make the next oil change a little less messy. Good day.

Just purchased 37x13.50 tires and 24 inch chrome snowflakes, chrome door handles and tailgate, tow mirrors, aftermarket grille, tint film for taillights and headlights, and 3 inch body lift to add to my existing suspension lift. Total 3500$ can't wait for all the stuff to get in and put it together!

Took it on it's real first trip, to a little German town up in the mountains.. got lucky with a parking space at the end so only have to worry about a car on one side..

Got home with a grill and windshield full of dead bugs.. wasn't looking to wash it again after washing it just last week..
