Waterfowler41 Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 What did you use to compress the coil? What notch did you go with on the front shocks? Are they like the Bilstein 5100 adjustables?Spring compressor tool from oreillys, yes they are adjustable exactly like bilsteins.I’m on the bottom notch currently which is currently measuring at 3” lift, I expect that to go down once I start the other side so should end up with a 2.5” lift up front.Waterfowler 41’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/brittmork

Sierra Dan Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 You have kahunas waterfowler! I have heard and seen horror stories about auto parts rent a compressors.
CadillacLuke24 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 They work, just depends on the car. On my sister's Kia, it was a walk in the park. My Cadillac? A FREAKING STRUGGLE. Sierra springs? Looks even worse!
HoosierZ Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I didn’t trust the parts store compressor so I made my own when I put Bilsteins on my ‘08. The screws are 20mm. 3

Forget the custom spring compressor, i am interested in the Sam Adams Octoberfest ! Seriously, great idea and those are not bending like auto store rentals. 2
