Waterfowler41 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Can you report on the ride quality with the new Eibach's?I’m going to do a full write up for the forum but just got aligned and driving out to Chicago right now, lots of crappy roads and the eibachs are floating me right over all the bumps. Very happy so far. No more rattle after hitting bumps. My OEM struts and shocks were done.Waterfowler 41’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/brittmork
Waterfowler41 Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 I didn’t trust the parts store compressor so I made my own when I put Bilsteins on my ‘08. The screws are 20mm. Those are awesome!!!! Elaborate on how you made them, they look beefyWaterfowler 41’s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/brittmork

They’re just 4 steel blocks with notches to fit around the spring with #10-32 screws for safety pins. The top two blocks closest to the nut are clearance drilled and the bottom blocks are tapped. The screws are, if I remember correctly, M20 fine thread threaded rod with nuts welded on. I can get dimensions if anyone is interested. 1
Sierra Dan Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 How many Octoberfests were downed during this process? 1

Perhaps I can use this as an excuse for an impact wrench purchase!

6.2Midnight Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 For those of you who did the WAMS mod, could you drive your truck without the HMI installed? If so, what did not work? 1
