Yeah could u post a picture
I'm off work at noon so I'll post more when I can. Sorry for now gents. Fitment is awesome. Small gaps at corners if done right. Great for possible future removal.

Okay. Heres a few close ups and a larger shot for reference for all who are interested. Apologies for not having any reference photos in my O.P.

I'll edit my O.P with links for everything. 9e23b511770ccc38bed907a5b5a0605e.jpgae0f304d407e2def07a9eb69f13f2872.jpg91687bd46cfd8b9abd83a3ddb3e02112.jpg7a9c729c15f0a4b1a7191c7860eda0be.jpg8cc9378b6d9bc8ab6c20e3ae53b9b32e.jpg

Thanks actually looks legit, does it have any glare with the sun and all? I gotta order it when I get home as my wife has the Amazon prime under her account and not mine ? even tho I’m the one that pays for it ?

Lmao and actually I havent noticed a whole lot of glare. I think the angle of it (being up and down, not slanted) is part of it, but I've never been blinded by it or couldnt read what was on the screen with my seating position. I've noticed I can see the center of the passenger seat in the reflection as I'm looking at it now, but other than that the screen is always on high brightness so I never have trouble seeing anything.

Truth be told I did these handful of mods a couple weeks ago, but I'm a little forum shy, so I was just trying to feel the threads out. Everybody on here seems super relaxed and cool but it's just a new place to post, so I try to be useful and not post unnecessarily.

Heres 2 pics, 1 of my typical view, and the second, if you look at the reflection, you can see the Mickey's bag in my passenger seat and the seatback stitching. But that's about all. Ive never have 'brights behind me in my mirrors at night' type of glare ever. d097c310d0ef777939700171e37964eb.jpg99cfaa7654cb80fac0e9fdb54d991afe.jpg

For me, the main glare come from the passengers seat. During hunting season is the worst, bright orange everywhere!

Thanks for those pictures, cant even tell it has a screen protector by how well you put it down. I still have the factory plastic one it came with but it needs replacing.

Don't be forum shy here, we have a great group here....we can be really helpful but be careful looking though everyone's mods will affect your bank account lol

+1, and stay away from the thread about oil catch cans, turns into a dumpster fire quick.

Or any about your preferred brand of oil...

Oh I ran into those when I was on jeepforum just looking up if i should have a catch can on my 4.7l.... turned into a huge debate with no data to backup either side and I just said 'well, it's free to not have one, so I'll do that.'

But I agree with the both of you, everyone here has been very calming to speak with and it's not crazy, so I'm already quite comfortable. I'm glad I kinda got the first few posts out of the way, I had a JF account for 3 years posted 5 times...

Pretty soon on here I'll break that 50 mark to hit up the FS/WTB threads. Stoked because@Frankielozano214 seems to be posting good a plethora of LTZ/HC parts. Speaking of which I might be hitting you up for your deal on those LTZ Taillights. Mine 16 CCSB came with some cheap ebay pair and I love the OEM ones much more. (I would really love to have 16+ denali tails but I know already they dont fit.)

Well if anyone is interested I use Mobil 1 lol [emoji6]

also, I've been watching videos of a guy named project farm on YT who tested all 5W30 oils and amazon basics had pretty good results amongst 20 or so others...

He’s definitely got entertaining videos. You should see his Amsoil Signature Series tests.

Ok, let’s stop here while we’re ahead. My bad for even mentioning oil here - You always gotta shill Amsoil on this site, lmao.

    • No such thing as regenerative braking on a pure ICE vehicle.     Regenerative braking is the re-capture of energy from electric motors and stores it in the battery pack.  So hybrids, PHEV and EVs have regenerative braking.     What you are seeing is the charging system changing modes is all.  Its likely entering charge mode for some sort of reason is all.  All of the charging modes will be listed below.   As for L10 vs D.  L10 turns off automatic grade braking.  L10 puts you in control of grade downshifts where in D it will automatically do it based on brake pedal position and other factors.  Otherwise L10 and D drive exactly the same aside from that one aspect.    Battery Sulfation Mode The BCM will enter this mode when the interpreted Generator output voltage is less than 13.2 V for 45 minutes. When this condition exists the BCM will enter Charge Mode for 2–3 minutes. The BCM will then determine which mode to enter depending on voltage requirements.   Charge Mode The BCM will enter Charge Mode when ever one of the following conditions are met:   Windshield wipers are ON for more than 3 s. Climate Control Voltage Boost Mode Request is true, as sensed by the HVAC control module via serial data. High speed cooling fan, rear defogger, and HVAC high speed blower operation can cause the BCM to enter the Charge Mode. The estimated battery temperature is less than 0°C (32°F). Battery State of Charge is less than 80%. Vehicle speed is greater than 145 km/h (90 mph) A current sensor malfunction exists. System voltage is determined to be below 12.56 V When any one of these conditions is met, the system will set targeted generator output voltage to a charging voltage between 13.9–15.5 V, depending on the battery state of charge and estimated battery temperature.   Fuel Economy Mode The BCM will enter Fuel Economy Mode when the estimated battery temperature is at least 0°C (32°F) but less than or equal to 80°C (176°F), the calculated battery current is less than 15 A and greater than −8 A, and the battery state-of-charge is greater than or equal to 80%. Its targeted generator output voltage is the open circuit voltage of the battery and can be between 12.5–13.1 V. When fuel economy mode is active, the generator is not charging, only maintaining open circuit battery voltage. The BCM will exit this mode and enter Charge Mode when any of the conditions described above are present.   Headlamp Mode The BCM will enter Headlamp Mode when ever the head lamps are ON (high or low beams). Voltage will be regulated between 13.9–14.5 V.   Start Up Mode When the engine is started the BCM sets a targeted generator output voltage of 14.5 V for 30 s.   Tow/Haul Mode (if applicable) Pressing the Tow/Haul Mode button located on the center stack, the vehicle system voltage is raised and the remote (non-vehicle) battery will be charged. Having the headlamps on will raise the system voltage and if the Tow/Haul button is applied it will not serve any purpose. The voltage is regulated between 13.9-14.5 V.
    • Hello from Australia Just sharing that there is now a way to delete the active shutters entirely with just a plug in module. Opens up tons of room to light bars etc.
    • I have an observation and a question... 1) I watch the voltage closely because I have had to dial in the cut-in/cut-out voltages of the battery separator to my camper.  The "smart" charging drives me nuts.  Anyway, I noticed that when coasting for a while, and especially if lightly using the brakes (though not necessary), the voltage goes up from mid/high-13 volts to mid/high-14 volts.  Then it drops back down after stopping or going again.  Consistently!   The only explanation I can come up with is REGENERATIVE BRAKING!  Well, maybe that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but it's certainly free extra battery charging.   2) Driving on mountain roads I will use L and vary the max gear.  Things straighten out and I end up in L10.  Sometimes I leave it there for a while.  Is there any difference between L10 and D?
    • Do you think this width might affect the chalk test with a higher pressure closer to 65psi? I think lowering the pressure makes sense to get the tread to lay flatter
