So far no issues with the quality of the seats. I like the AT's painted bumpers because it differentiates our trucks just a bit. In a year or so when every other truck on the road is just like yours you will probably think different. Good looking trucks!

I like that grille too, I first thought I would get the denali grill, but the all terrain grille looks great with silver surround.

Can that be added on with aftermarket parts?

Probably. But I don't see how you could duplicate the fit & finish. The sensors, in particular, need BCM and Link programming to support a factory install.

True. And others have had the same warranty claims on the leather. Some have even had warranty issues on their leather and NOT the vinyl. Just saying the vinyl of today isn't the vinyl of the 60's. Me, I have 3 kids who treat the truck like a cattle trailer. No issues yet.Let

Let me start by acknowledging I have zero insight into GMC leather or vinyl in the 2014/15 or any other year.

The Mercedes Benz I traded in to buy my All-Terrain Plus Sierra had MB Tex (vinyl). I was originally disappointed with having vinyl in a vehicle like that, but the more I learned about it and the leather available in $50-$75K vehicles, the more I was happy that I had the MB Tex. It wears like iron, feels better to the touch than the painted leather in $50-$75K vehicles, and was the perfect choice for me. Based on forums and folks I spoke with, by far most MB owners prefer MB Tex over leather.

Leather cost more in that vehicle, and looked much worse after years of use in my opinion. You're not getting aniline died full grain leather at that price point, and most people would hate a superior grade of leather like that in their vehicle. The painted stuff you get in these (MB & GM) vehicles doesn't age gracefully, in my opinion based on what I've seen… it just starts to look old and bad. All of that said the vinyl in these trucks may not fare any better—I don’t know.

Vinyl can be great. I'm hoping the vinyl in the seats in my ‘14 Sierra are close to or better than what Mercedes has been using for so long, but I have no idea if my hope is well placed in GM on this point.

My 2008 Chevy truck had 140,000 miles on it. Much of that was with dogs. Granted I covered the back seat, but often the dogs would climb in the front while I drove alone or would get in the front when I parked for meals. The GM leather looked great when I sold it/gave it to my brother/(he took it).

All Terrain with cloth is a sweet deal if you like the turn signals in the mirrors and a couple other little details that you otherwise can't get with cloth. I bought mine early and ended up with a straight SLE 4x4 because an All Terrain wasn't available. I have the center console and sliding rear window, a rare combination in the SLE. Next time around I plan to be patient and order the All Terrain. Hopefully by then they will offer parking sensors on the front with cloth seats and not require leather like they do now. An around-view camera like Ford and Nissan have would be a welcome feature, too.

Couple of creaks and squeaks from the rear leaf springs... also had some squealing from the motor when it's really cold... BUT in regards to the AT package itself, I could not be happier. I went in ready to buy the Denali and left with a fully loaded AT.

I've owned 4 mercedes with mb-tex, the highest mileage one being a 240d with 600k miles

I think iron actually wears faster than mb-tex

If you need any accessories, would love to help. We have couple of toys at www.eTruckGear.com and offer honest service ( with 100 % positive Amazon feedback we try hard to be there for the customer)

Stop by on Internet and take a look. Tonno Pro is a nice brand to look at. Not that well known but super quality and low price. We are also Weathertech approved, meaning warranty applies as opposed to purchases on Amazon. Don't like Weathertech? We have Husky or Maxliner. Will be glad to help.
