Sierra All Terrain

For $450 you can get the All Terrain Grille and ad it to a SLE or SLT Z71 with chrome bumpers. I loved the All Terrain, and was actually going to order one with the chrome bumpers, but decided to get a well equipped SLE Z71 and add the AT grille. You can also do this as a factory order add on for $450 installed by the dealer. I'm not sure if they take your SLT/SLE grille or not. I did mine myself. The wheels are a different story, but several options and choices.

 

Just another option???

 

 

 

 

I ended up changing the painted surround back to the chrome for now, and it is growing on me more every day.

you've probably posted where you got your grille all over the place but I can't seem to find it. So where do you purchase it? and was install difficult or just a couple nuts and bolts and clips and you're on your way? Love the way your truck looks. very jealous!

I bought my all terrain 2 weeks ago in black with color match bumpers and i love it i wanted silver but they cut me an awesome so i ran with it. only thing i miss is the cooled seats but what ever 1st world prob i guess.

Same here. I think this is the best truck I've had, but the plastic seat covers are a pisser. I'd order a SLT Z71 and load up all the other AT pieces as best I could.

or if you don't want leather and want to save a few thousand, then get the SLE version of the All Terrain. The only options missing on the SLE version is heated steering wheel and front parking sensors, and some other minor vehicle settings like the powerfold mirrors don't fold in if you hold in the lock button on the fob like they do on the SLT version.

 

Actually the SLE All Terrain seats have the fake leather/vinyl on the side bolsters, and just the center inserts are cloth. I like them and my back doesn't sweat when it's hot unlike leather seats without the "cooled" feature.

Yes I wish my AT had the full leather seats as well. But here's something to think about. My buddy has a 2014 Silverado LTZ with the leather cooled seats. He does much the same stuff as me (beach days, fishes and hunts) and he finds that after awhile, the perforations in his cooled seats actually fill with sand, dust and little bits or grass. He says he has to go in with a toothpick once every couple of months to clean the holes.

 

Personally... I don't wanna do that.

IMO, the better solution for hunting and "beach days" is seat covers, no matter what seats you have. Seats take a real beating with dirty activities.

True. And others have had the same warranty claims on the leather. Some have even had warranty issues on their leather and NOT the vinyl. Just saying the vinyl of today isn't the vinyl of the 60's. Me, I have 3 kids who treat the truck like a cattle trailer. No issues yet.
