Cup Holder Mod

The cup holders of my 40/20/40 center console are not sealed and when I spill liquid in them it leaks out onto my seat and floor. Apparently, this is not limited to my vehicle but every truck with the three cup holder design in the 40/20/20 seat layout. If anyone knows how to seal the slots in the cup holders other than squirting some caulk in them, please let me know. Thanks.

Turn the water bottle upright and put a cap on it...That'll fix it!

I know how to fix it quick and easy, saran wrap the cup holder without the rubber insert with extra on the sides, slowly wedge the rubber in and then trim the excess.

 

Or! tape a tougher plastic bag to the bottom side of the rubber insert.

Spray the inside with flex seal.....

I don't know how to snap out the cup holder to get to the back side of it to add the membrane. Any ideas?

No... Sorry. I have bucket seat. But mine just pops out if I push the rubbet edge towards the cavity and I can get a good grip to pull them out.
