Keep in mind, the tires could have been changed...65psi is what, a load range D pressure while 80 psi is a load range E pressure typically?

Unless they are a radial, I would run the max cold pressure stated in the sidewall.

Any trailer tire I'd run at the max rated cold psi to get the best load carrying capacity out of them.

That's another whole discussion...bias ply tires absolutely should be ran at max psi always; but radials are like the tires on your truck, and don't need to run max psi unless your at max weight on the trailer?

My camper is this way...loaded weight is 5500, has 8800 pounds of tire capacity and 7000 pounds in axle capacity. Do you really need to run the radials at max psi??

Just some food for thought...whatever gives you that warm and fuzzy.

One thing I will also throw out there...if you intend to Tow for any distance, get the trailer tires balanced. I think out-of-balance tires, slapping the ground for miles on end at the same spot on the tire, are responsible for blow outs.
