OK, I have been out of the mirror talk for awhile, about 3 years ago, with pgamboa help, I wired in my own harness and installed Chinese mirrors. My right heated mirror cracked awhile ago and I have been unable to find a replacement glass. Today I got a steal on a couple of Factory mirrors Part numbers# Left 84041601 and Right 84041617, the Right mirror has what looks like a Temp sensor built in?  They have 4 bolts ( Been so long I don't recall what mine had) I am wondering if these will even fit my 2016 Silverado, it came with stock heated, turn signal in glass mirrors.  Any info would be greatly appreciated so I don't have to pull a door panel just to do a test fit. Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking about going from a DL8 to DL3.  Do the colored covers pop off easy to keep the original color if I buy different colored ones?

Also, where is a good place to get the door switch?  I'd expect that there would be a few pairs of dl3's  around here from towing mirror upgrades.  I'd be interested.  Of course the harnesses would come from pgamboa.  :)

Thanks!

I have a pair of OEM DL3 mirrors with Factory harnesses I would be interested in selling if interested.

Thank you, but I have a set coming already.

$1000 for the pair sounds eight. I can get them for $1058 for the set, shipped anywhere in the US.

Manual fold set is $495 (black), $555 (Chrome).

There are MANY power fold aftermarket mirrors out and you do get what you pay for. If you decide to settle for an aftermarket option, be sure you have a recourse for return if your not satisfied.

I'm guessing the only aftermarket, power folding tow mirrors worth buying would be the Boost Auto(which aren't much less than OEM) or the 1Aauto Trail Ridge (https://www.1aauto.com/chevy-gmc-mirror-set-trail-ridge/i/1amrp01786)

If I were to buy those Trail Ridge mirrors and your harnesses, would I need to have the mirrors shipped to you first? I'm still holding out for a deal on OEM's, but it's not looking to good (I apparently can't check the For Sale section here until I surpass 50 posts. I have a ways to go)

I no longer need mirrors to come to me. I supply pigtails was to handle the mirror side modification needed.

This saves you $ on additional shipping costs, labor, and minimizes any potential damage from the extra shipping back/forth.

Hope this helps

Thanks!

Got my mirrors in the other day.  Work great.  Thanks pgamboa for the harness kit.  It would have been really easy if my eyesight was better.  Also, don't forget to reconnect your door handles when you put it back together.  Had a little panic when I couldn't get out! :)

Ok, good to know, thanks. I'll definitely be in touch as soon as I figure out which mirrors I want

Hey Phil,

New member. Just bought a 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT w the Duramax, built 09/13 in Flint. RPO DPN and K40. Would like to upgrade to DQS. Will the 1A Auto 1AMRPO1786 work on my truck?

Can you open you driver door, snap a pic of the runner boot harness? I think 2014 - 2500HD trucks have the 2013 gen style electrical.

Yep. As I expected. 2013 body style electrical. I won’t have any knowledge of your path unfortunately. My apologies.
