2014 Silverado Front Winch/Winch Mount Options

Hey Forum,

 

I got stuck yesterday helping a local sheriff move a pine tree out of the highway, so now I am looking for a winch for my truck.  Does anyone have a front winch on your 2014 silverado 1500?

I’ve been in the market for one recently after having to do some pulling myself.

 

The Warn portable winch kits are what I’ve been looking into some. I don’t really want a new bumper, so I’ve been trying to find other options for the front.

 

A d ring shackle and tow strap may be what I stick with, it’s worked well for my purposes so far. I also haven’t had to pull any real heavy dead weight though either.
