Did you installed the Bilstein leveling shocks up front? I’m now looking at the 5160’s in the rear and 6112’s in front. Originally I chose Fox but I was warned a bit stiff up front.

Yes. Installed myself. More info in the 5100 thread in the modifications sub form. The fronts took some time and the harbor freight spring compressor barely fit the springs bud did the job.

Make sure you you get an alignment if you level the front with leveling shocks. I posted my alignment sheet. Toe was out of spec and would have chewed tires.

Im used to the bilstien ride in my other truck. I had summitracing price match 4wheelparts on amazon. Got all 4 for $330 shipped

Thank you for the info, I’ve already got a level, just looking to smoothen the ride.

No problem! [emoji482]

Not to derail thread but what do you miss about your Duramax or not?

I wanted one but couldn’t resist the deals on 1500’s and I’d feel like the short commutes in town would not play nice with all the emissions and nature of diesels.

They sure do look bada$$, love the hood scoop, stance and ohhh the torque!

Mine was a 16 LTZ CC Z71 4X4. Used it to tow my fifth wheel. Spent thousands on it with remote airbags, shocks, tires, having the fluids changed from front to rear every 4K miles with Amsoil mostly cause of my OCD having to have immaculate vehicle. I miss the stance, extreme reliability and obviously the power...very quick truck for its weight class. I didn’t miss the way it beat on me unloaded as a daily commute especially trying to find diesel at the last minute. Whoever owns it now is a very lucky person. Bought it for $65k OTD traded it in after two years for $53K after my special order 6.2 came in. Here’s the setup I had

Btw, I’m looking forward to the 2020 diesels coming out. I LOVE my 6.2 CC and will be keeping as a daily but looking forward to picking up another one with taller stance
