Cleaned inside and out, plus played around with some plasti-dip this weekend to see how I like the matte black look. I think it looks much better. We will see how well it holds up, especially on exhaust tips.

My wife and neighbors were so confused when they saw me taping off and spray painting my truck. [emoji23] It was a little windier than I would have liked, but any overspray cleaned up rather easily.61a661ee52865c609294cf145a1eb27e.jpgf003025634b7e4741558283fed4ccd7b.jpg00ac097ba28297625ef42c238710982f.jpgda6890674a84a46ef9d33c48c3166d38.jpg

Wanted to add a bit of vinyl to the hood, was easier than I thought they would be.

My 2015 SLT came stock with door molding and in 5 years I've never had a single door ding.  I'd like to keep my 2020 that way.  Went a head and installed some on the new truck to protect the aluminum doors.

Installed a motofab 1 1/2" front lift to find out it now pushes the shock against the cv boot.  Fortunately saw this on the first side, so I removed it and am now scratching my head.

Depends on the height of the opposing door or cart.  I think you were just lucky.   :)

Amazon for $39.99, these come with detailed instructions but I tossed them and just soaked the area in windex with allows for all the movements you need to get them lined up. The creases are hard to see so being able to move them helps. After that I started to push the windex out with my fingers while keeping a dry cloth in my hand. At some point you just have to let them sit and dry, left my truck in the garage overnight and was good to go. I will admit that a second set of hands would of helped when taking the backing off the sticker as the RST cutout is not easy to get to peel off. Since you have vinyl experience you won’t have any issues.

Never put on decals wet....never heard of using windex for wet app!  Its getting into the 40s today here so not optimal unless I go to my heated garage.
