Installed a knockoff fleabay grill, went against my “buy once cry once” mantra and it bit me. Needless to say a factory one is now on order lol. Also installed factory fog lights, need to get the brain flashed at the dealer this week. Also pulled the lower air dam thing and put on a stubby antenna. Wheels tires and lift are ordered can’t wait to get them on. Also scheduled to get the bumpers wrapped matte black which will be the last of the chrome.

First paint correction and seal on the AT4 now that winter is over. This blue looks even better after a clay/polish/seal.

I added a light strip on the plastic bottom/back edge of the rear seat to illuminate the storage box when the lid is off, which is how I usually use it. I guess I would have to relocate it to the inside of the lid if/when I ever decide to use the lid long-term.

The battery pack/switch sits just inside the hinge of the seat and is easy to find with your hand in the dark.

 

It's just a battery operated LED strip. Local truck store threw in 4 of these light strips when I bought my bed covers and I didn't use any of them in the bed.

That’s a very smart upgrade, they look really bright too.  Great idea... I need to get the storage unit, I’ve stuffed everything I can into the little one that came with the truck.   That storage space is massive.   Nice mod !  Which storage box is that ?

The box is the OEM GM Box and I just removed the lids. If/when I put a gun or something more valuable than basic tools then I'd put the lid back on because you can put a padlock on it.

The lights are just lights that as mentioned I got 'for free' with my bedcovers. I don't think I would pay the market price for them for what they sell for but nevertheless this is what they are, maybe you could find something similar for less money:

I dropped mine off to begin the process of getting Xpel and ceramic coating applied.  Today they cut and buffed and tomorrow it should get the PPF and coating.  I should have it back on Wednesday.

      Because single shot injectors are ancient and multi hole injectors provide smoother running engines and sharper throttle response due to the fuel being atomized better..the best lead I have is a 24lb blue top injector almost everything matches up but the injector will put out about 26lb/hr which is just outside the gm threshold.figured id ask here to see if there was an absolute answer

      Why is my question?   Any change in injectors requires a tune. Unless you are going back with the OEM part number or a newer part number of that same injector.   Any size difference or type difference like the EV6 style injectors all have different injector data for them. And there is no EV6 injector that matches the factory 25 lb/hr size that your truck comes with. I've been messing with these trucks and tuning them for a long time and what you trying to do doesn't exactly make sense to me.

      My 6.6 gas lt8 had lifter noise with 28000 miles bought new 2026 and while driven to dealer it threw #1 rod bearing “HD my ass” good luck with yours i hope it don’t turn a rod bearing!

      Thought it was raining this morning when we woke. Nope. Dew point was over 80 F and humidity 98%. Zero visibility distance. Everything was 'sweating'. I've seen rain come out of clouds but never out of Pepper or the tree trunks.    Wicked storms just missed us sliding off to the east but by blocks. Heat index about 110 F with air temp in the 90's.    This is  our third wave this month of multiple days of this type of weather. And yet the grass is going dormant and the ground is cracking this side of the street and water up the the hood opposite. Just weird stuff going on.
