How did you do the usb 3.0 ports? 

Yep

Grabbed a couple of these ports on Amazon for 13 bucks. Pulled the dash apart and tapped into the existing 12V port to give me power to this.

Now I have 4 QC 3.0 ports to charge everything at once.

New to the forum. Lurked for a while, long time Chevy fan, love the community and all the great info here. 

 

Chevy used a picture of my truck in their Memorial Day social media campaign. Kinda cool to have them contact me for that and to see it in my feed as I randomly scroll through one day. 

 

 

This is my current ride. 2019 Silverado 1500 LTZ crew 6.2L and my fifth Silverado over all. 

 

My previous models were:

2009 LT Z71

2012 LTZ 6.2

2014 LTZ Z71

2017 LTZ Z71 Midnight Edition

and a 2000 S10 Xtreme back in the day. 

 

My wife is on her third Tahoe, currently driving a 2017 LT Z71.

How do you like the GM power steps? Do you have the power step switch inside too? I just ordered a 2020 LTZ, and I kinda regret not ordering the power steps. I had planned on getting the AMP steps, but I kinda like the GM steps...a little late now I guess

I like them so far. Occasionally, they won’t retract like they are supposed to and will remain in the extended position until I start to drive away. Other than that, I haven’t had any issues with them. I like the feature of being able to extend them to the rear to reach into the forward portion of the bed. Being a shorter guy, that helps. 

Having never tried the AMP version, I can’t really compare the two. 

Keep us posted on the progress of your custom order. I’ve always been curious about the process of doing that and getting everything exactly as you want it.

Good looking truck.

 

My last 3 trucks have all been whatever white tricoat GM had at the time - 2012 LTZ 5.3 2WD CC, 2016 SLT 5.3 4WD CC & 2019 Denali 6.2 4WD CC. Loved every one of them - 2016 was my least favorite due to the 8 speed transmission clunkiness.

Nice, simple mod. Have those on my Denali. Pretty nice for factory wheels & polished wheels seem so much easier to maintain.

Thanks... I like these wheels better than the High Country 22s, plus it's nice to have something none of the other Silverados out there have.

Picked her up a week ago. So far I’ve tint matched the front windows and had a rhino liner sprayed. Also put on tri fold tonneau cover and the GM “work truck” steps. The steps are half the price of most steps GM offers but I prefer the look to all the others. Next I plan to add a more aggressive tire, level it off or lift it just slightly, cover up as much chrome as possible and add a subwoofer.
