That looks like a disaster. Thanks for the heads up, I'm currently waiting on a window. How long did you have to wait on your window to come it?

The real disaster is this horrible design!  WTF GM... you clip the metal roof so all water will shed directly to the top of the window?  These are all destined to leak at some point.

My GM REV tonneau cover is a different story. Had a gallon of water in the back of my bed. What a piece of junk.

Was there ever a general consensus on whether this happens to both the solid glass windows and the ones with the slider? Or is it mainly the ones with the slider?

Only sliders so far, it seems.

Went to pickup my truck today after they sealed the spoiler. They used a black colored sealant and left some residue on the top of the rear window. But looks like they didn't even attempt to clean the headliner. I left it with them to see if they can remove the stain. I was upfront with the service advisor that if the headliner wasn't perfect that I would ask them to submit for a replacement through GM.4165105debe9e7148eb69042b1d1fe25.jpg

I think i would of called the head person of that dealer over and asked them if they find that work acceptable. Seriously at  loss of words from some of the work i am seeing released out of dealers garages and posted on this website. GM has a serious issue going on right now with their dealership network and who and what they hire as techs these days.

Well, three weeks later after TSB caulk job and mine is leaking again. Not as bad, but a little water staining appearing after each rain. This time only on passenger side. I have towels behind the headrest and they don't appear to really get wet, but I clean the window and the water stain comes back after it rains. Not sure if I should have a new window put in if the defect is in the window assembly itself. What's to stop the replacement from doing this too. ????

Well, I took it in today and they said that water was leaking "through the glass". Assuming he meant the glass frame/assembly, whatever. He said they actually have a spare in stock and it will get replaced when "the glass guy comes tomorrow". He said that the technician that is their water leak expert will prep the truck today for the glass guy. So I'm guessing he will remove the seats, etc and the glass guy just does the swap. Then the tech will have to reassemble everything. The service manager said that it should be ready for pickup tomorrow afternoon or evening. Again, this was a November 2018 build that I bought in March 2019 that didn't start leaking until December 2019.

Yeah yelling usually does not accomplish much but at a certain point you would hope common sense wins out but man some guys today don't seem to have much. Good luck to you and hope they eventually take care of your issues.

I just noticed my headliner is stained today. This was after they applied more sealant when it was leaking the first time. The first time around, the headliner was not stained.

Started leaking again 2 weeks after the sealant, and now the headliner is stained. Ugh.

They told me today that headliners are back ordered and they haven’t got any news when they will be available. I’m betting they suddenly find one for my truck after 10:00am tomorrow morning. Today is 58days without the truck the last thirty five days in a little Malibu.
