I had a friend who’s mom bought a car and within a week had to return it because i think she lied on the application and the loan wouldn’t go through. They sold her something else

happens all the time.....they also do some shady stuff with financing on peeps with challenged credit

I don't know about your state but the deal isn't final until you leave the dealer with the truck

In CT they would need to unwind the deal by LAW

It might have been a bait and switch. She ended up at chevy and left in a brand new equinox no idea how chevy made that possible

Got a 2020 1500 RST with convenience I & II, leather, all star package, trailer package. Got a spray on bed liner and tints included in the deal.

MSRP $50k

OTD $40k.

was 38k without taxes etc.

got the $5500 cash incentive

costco $1500

lease incentive $1500

first responder incentive and dealer gave me $4500.

car was not in stock but had one with vin assigned and leaving factory. Should arrive in 1-2 weeks.

Paperwork signed and all. Financed through GM.

my question - now that it’s July do I still get all my rebates?

That's exactly what I'm looking for in TX. Is that a 4x4 crew cab? 6.2 or 5.3?

Here's a question while i'm thinking about it.. is the farm bureau discount still a thing? I know ford gives a $500 discount for farm bureau members, and I got the discount when I bought my current silverado in 2014.. a quick google and forum search showed nothing either way. I didn't know if it was hidden or taken away from Chevy or what.

Doesn’t hurt to call and ask your local dealer. If your a Costco member they run specials. Saved me $1000.

...note, they want you to be a Costco member for a little bit before you can get the vehicle discount, so you can't just go to costco, sign up, then drive to the dealer and get the $1k off (or at least, you aren't supposed to be able to do that).

Was that an in stock truck? Or an ordered one? Either way $10k off is pretty good in these times.

Thanks, I thought it was a pretty good deal. Probably could have negotiated a bit lower, but they found the rig I wanted and they were great to work with. they did a dealer trade to get the truck from another dealer that had it in stock.

Great deal! And your dealership actually found another to swap trucks? Unheard of in my area. Because there are like no 1/2 ton Crew cabs in stock. Just ordered trucks being delivered to dealerships.

Yeah, I was finding the same. 1500s are tough to come by right now, from my understanding due to factory shut downs caused by COVID19. The $6k factory incentive helped, we got another $1k off because my wife is a teacher, and the rest was dealer discount.

I’m hoping for the $5k customer cash. Dealer discount I’m hoping for another $3k. My wife is a nurse so maybe another $500?  I’m going to ask for $11k. But I could live with 9k off sticker. $10k would be better. But. I won’t know till tomorrow. This is torture. It’s like the night before Christmas when I was 7 years old.

It's possible. I got 13k off MSRP for an RST. Just depends on the dealer you go to. Costco gives 1k if you're a member.
