I know I'll catch some wrath here, but I'm looking to swap the center console on my 2020 2500HD AT4 Sierra for a jump seat.  We just had our forth child and we can no longer take the truck anywhere as a family.  I've got a couple questions that I think members will likely be able to answer.

  1. Will this swap leave anything unfinished on the underside of the dash below the controls?
  2. Will there be carpet under the current storage area of the console?
  3. I've been able to locate a number of 1500 jump seats, but can't find any 2500HD.  Will a 1500 work in a 2500?  My seats are black leather now.

Thank you

I can't answer any of your questions but I might be able to help. I have a 2020 2500HD Custom. My jump seat had no storage, I had to have storage so I went looking for a jump seat with storage. I ended up installing one with top and bottom storage out of a 2016 Tahoe. It did not bolt in. I had to make brackets out of 1" flat stock. Easy process just took time. I don't have the wiring for all of the charger ports in the Tahoe console but I have them on the dash. To get a direct fit for a 2020 I think you might have to buy one for a 2020. Watch EBay, these Municipalities buy new vehicles and rip the consoles and jump seats out to install their equipment.

I have the same EXACT “issue” (four kids, want six seats) and the same questions. I’m in the market for a 2020 2500HD and want all the nice tech of the LTZ but I need the jump seat.

I’ve seen videos of people swapping out the jump seat with console in 1500s, but nothing in 2500s. I did, however, measure the rear base of a 2500 and 1500 console and they are exactly the same. I believe they are interchangeable. But I have not fully confirmed that as fact yet. Hoping folks on here can help with that ?

Do you have any pics?  I’m doing this exact conversion in my 2500.  Did you weld the flat stock to existing?  Thanks

I had to have my son sit in the middle of a 2020 1500 single cab.  With his carseat his feet were touching every dash control.

I cant imagine doing that full time, its hard enough getting three carseats in the back as it is

I got mine done today.  Have a buddy that’s a welder.  We raised the console a little for comfort.  I’m 6’5” and I’ve always disliked how low the armrest is.  Turned out well, and everything is getting wrapped in red Katzkin next week.

So I habe a 2020 2500 HD Custom. I have a jump seat but no storage compartments. Any ideas where I can find a replacement that has the top and bottom storage compartments along with the AC vents and USB in the back?

Thanks.

I just bought a 2020 3500 HD and I'm looking to trade my jump seat for a center console if anybody is interested. I will pay for shipping. The seat is dark gray fabric and there are 0 cosmetic blemishes given that it is brand new. Also, it has storage on top and under the seat.

I would purchase this off you. I’m looking to upgrade to a jump seat with storage. Let me know, thanks!

Yes. This pic below is from a buddy that has a 2020 3500hd denali. Converted to the 6th seat all leather. Has storage top and bottom including all the accessories behind it. The woofer was mounted under the rear seats. Woofer can be abandoned as well with no issues to sound system. The seat is from a 2019/2020 which is the new style so it was just a simple bolts out and back in. No welding no issues. Simple swap.

I have a 2021 3500hd denali that I am looking to do the same to. If someone wants to swap me for their jumper seat that has storage top and bottom including the 2 usb and air vents in the back let me know. I have the jet black leather interior.

    • Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important. If you see a gold coin right on the edge of a cliff or next to a spike trap, ignore it. Our goal is a High Score, and your score only increases if you survive. 4. Make the most of Power-ups. During the slide, you'll encounter items like Magnets (attract gold) or Shields (temporary invincibility). Never miss them! Especially the Shield, it's your "get out of jail free card" to help you get through those deadly fast sections. 5. Stay calm when speed peaks. When your score exceeds 500 or 1000, the game speed will be very fast. At this point, don't try to think logically; let your natural reflexes work. Take deep breaths and don't panic. Apply these 5 tips to your next game, and your leaderboard will surely improve dramatically. Good luck climbing the Slide Down leaderboard!
    • If you use compressed air regularly, one problem you cannot ignore is moisture. Water in the air line can cause rust, unstable air pressure, poor tool performance, and even damage to sensitive equipment. That is why I highly recommend using a desiccant air dryer. A desiccant air dryer is designed to remove moisture from compressed air by using drying materials such as activated alumina or molecular sieve. Compared with basic water separators, it can achieve much lower dew points, making it especially useful for applications that require dry and stable air. For workshops, painting systems, pneumatic tools, CNC machines, laser cutting equipment, and industrial production lines, a desiccant air dryer can make a big difference. It helps protect equipment, improve air quality, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the service life of the whole compressed air system. Another advantage is reliability. Many desiccant air dryers are built for continuous operation and can maintain stable drying performance even in demanding environments. For users who care about long-term efficiency and equipment protection, this is a smart investment. When choosing a desiccant air dryer, I suggest paying attention to air flow capacity, working pressure, dew point performance, regeneration method, and maintenance requirements. A good model should match your compressor system and actual air consumption. Overall, if moisture is causing problems in your compressed air system, a desiccant air dryer is definitely worth considering. It is practical, efficient, and highly useful for anyone who needs clean, dry, and reliable compressed air.

They were either out of order, access was blocked, or the hose a few feet too short and I couldn't get any closer without risking damage to someone's property.   https://postimg.cc/gallery/X5QJ55w
