Hey everyone! Has anyone found a company that currently offers a Roof Rack system (Not Universal or Cross Bar Clamp i.e. Rhino Rack) for the new 2019 Silverado?

Added a picture of what I'm talking about. There are a lot for Colorado's models but nothing for Silverado! Ugh

I know of a company RMT Overland who has one, but is only sold as a package direct to the dealerships as a "Turn Key" Overland Silverado. (Also Pictured) I have tried several attempts to contact RMT but they will not reach back out, I think cause I'm not a dealership maybe? i Dunno.

JMO, but that roof rack is uglier than a MIL with a head full of curlers and a mudpack. If you need more cargo carrying capacity than what fits into the bed of your p/u, I would look into a small enclosed trailer, probably less wind resistance than a loaded roof rack and therefore better mpg, and better security too as it could be locked.

I don't think truck size necessarily has anything to do with it. The Tundra Prinsu racks sell just fine. As popular as overlanding is at the moment, it's probably just a matter of time before one is available.

I’ve got a fabrication team working on one as well as bed racks (1/2, 3/4, full to clear soft toppers).

bed rack for topper should be done in about a week and a half.

does anyone know about stock mounting points in the roof. Rails, haven’t been able to pull the trim off my truck to check.

I reached out to KC on their M-Rack solution - they say they are looking at one for this generation of GM. I was added to their list of interested customers.  They have them for the previous generation - reach out to them too even if interested in them building one.  I like this one as low profile and following roof line nicely.

Alternatively, i am thinking about fabricating my own if needed but I would prefer to buy one!

The cap in the back is the issue with the current Kc m-rack here are some pictures.  I don’t really want mess with that cap on the top and then cause some sort of water leak issue so one option is to trim the curved part.  I also contacted Racktec about their roof rack. They said it should fit since it doesn’t curve down but I have not seen one in person attached a picture below

The M-Rack has 6 attachment points on each side rail to secure it to your roof. The RackTec only has 3 per side.

I ended up using 80/20 to make a rack. i ended up spending roughly $250 making it (possibly $300 without the stuff i already had). I can share better photos later. i will be going out this weekend again. IMG_6618.thumb.jpg.2300b85b6125f31d19691719c8de5729.jpgtter

If I were to do this again, I would use 15 series or use a 2x1 for the runners. Simple, easy and cheaper. takes about 30 mins to install the rack and tent into truck. If anyone wants the DXFs/STEP/PDF model/drawings for the brackets i made to work, please DM myself and i will create them.
