I need to add a second battery to my 2020 Silverado CC. In previous years, it was simple. There was even a place. I don't see a single option or place to fit one. I called my local dealer multiple times to ask, but they never call back. Anyone else figured out a way to do this? Where is a good spot?

Pretty sure you will have to remote mount it and run long cables to it. There isn't a spot in the engine bay on the half tons.

Yes when they moved the battery to the firewall on the left with the previous gen trucks there was the old spot on the front right for one. Now with the redesign they have removed that space. Supposedly the 2500 diesels still have the 2nd battery. Maybe trade up? LOL

Can you mount it behind the grill just thought lots of room there

Yeah my 2015 had the extra hole, and even instructions in the book. Having a extra battery is a "gotta have" for lots of folks. That was pretty stoopid.  Especially the way these over board  sensors  nanny noses eat batteries!

Has anyone tried to add 2 x 6-volt optima batteries to a 2020 silverado 1500?  They're small, would easily fit behind the grill.
