I currently own a 05 Silverado that is completely stock other than a Line X bed liner and tinted windows. I would like to take off all the badges and pinstripes. I want to remove the antenna and add some fender flares. I want flares that are color matched, but haven't found anywhere that has them pre-painted. I also would like to spice up the interior a little bit, but I don't really know what to do there.

I guess the reason for this topic is to get some good detail on how to do all of these things. I plan on doing it all myself and want to do it the right way. So any detailed info on any or all of these things would be very helpful. Thanks

I have used fishing line and even dental floss to "saw" off the letters when removing badges from trucks. It always leaves a residue on the truck that can be removed with WD40 an your finger nails...not a nice job and it takes a while, but it does the trick.

I doubt that you will find any fender flares that are prepainted....they were available for the previous body style but I have looked hi and lo for them prepainted...no luck.. Maaco is pretty sheap and will color match them for about $100 a set....

As far as flares go, you are better off ordering them unpainted and having a body shop color match them for you. I have ordered things in the past from several different companies pre-painted. Most of the time there were small scratches in the paint for the shipping process and were slightly different color. Do yourself a favor and have them painted to match after you get them.

eraser wheel is what you want. By far the easiest in removing the glue/tape

The antenna is pretty easy to relocate. Just take it apart from the base, resituate it (I put my laying on the fender), and install it back in the base.

As for the interior, you could do LED lighting throughout, upgraded gauge cluster, different head unit, even a full interior swap. Just a few suggestions.
