Out testing my cone destroying skills. This car is amazing. ..reminds me of a Porsche. So stable and predictable.

Well, that wraps it up. I'll have a full write up soon. Chevy has one heck of a car here. Exceeded my expectations.

Here is a few more photos...

Incredible looking car! How does the rev matching work? I know Nissan has had it for a bit in the Z cars but I've never driven a newer one.

compared to the Porsche, that interior looks like crap. Seriously, that is one fugly interior, IMO.

Very similar to the Nissan system but even quicker. It perfectly matches the RPM as you move the shifter into the new gear and let off the clutch. Very easy to turn off via steering wheel mounted paddles (which was an odd-choice, IMHO)

Aww, you should really go sit down in one. I've driven many a recent Porsche and this interior is much better. Maybe not quite as elegant but more technology. A true cockpit feeling. The dual 8-inch displays give you a LOT of information that a Porsche just can't show you.

That is my point - it isn't elegant. When you spend that kind of money and your competitors are more elegant inside - it doesn't matter how technical it is if it is just plain ugly.

You have to like to look at it too.

Isn't there a Z06 planned this time around or is it just not ready to be announced yet?

I'm sure they'll have one. It seems like in the past special models are a year or two after the "base" car (its hard to call the car in this article a base model )
