Well I put it in the build section but no one ever looks there. I plast dipped my truck matte clear this weekend, then zombified it. I still have some plans for it. Gonna splash some more red dip on the side, instead of rubbing it on, to make it look a little more realistic. Ill probably write "infectious blood, do not touch" on the tailgate. Gonna dip the rims black this week and redo some of the writing. Who knows what else, im sure more ideas will come to mind.

Yeah it continues to grow on me. Each time you've posted pictures of the truck it seems to look more and more cool.

Idk, looks weird. If the base color was Gray or Black it would look better. Just looks kinda creepy and the stock wheels don't help. I've seen these "zombie" builds before and people tend to stick with older vehicles as they are cheap and easier to modify to get that type of look.

Kinda like this;

Idk, to each his own. Def not my style. I think buying a beat up K2 and fabbing up some steel bumpers and accessories would of yielded better results.

Still looks bad as hell. Never thought I'd see someone doing this style this soon, but man, I'd drive it. I think it'd look cool if you dropped it and put some blood on the roof or if you lifted It and had some arms and legs dangling from the underside.

youre over thinking this man. Besides, when the zombie apocalypse comes I'm pretty sure most cars getting all bloody and smashed up will be new cars not old unreliable junkers.

Received my sierrs spec morimoto hid bulbs and the gm type morimoto foglights. Installed the hid kit, but i have no idea how to get the fog lights out. I took the outer ring off, but not sure how to take the actual fog light out. Are these screwed in? I have the liner installed and cant see behind. I'm also at work with limited tools trying to install these in between breaks so i can try them out tonight since i work the night shift :)

They are held in with three clips on the backside of the foglamps .. You can squeeze them with your fingers while pulling out on the lamp .. Should pop right out.

Well clayed, buffed (Meguiers 205), sealed, waxed and added some h2o Guard and Gloss from Adams this past weekend. Wished I could add some 22's, color match bumpers and I would be pleased with appearance. 3rd thread that I post these on lol

Sorry if anyone works for them but I can't freaking stand UPS!!!

My Method NV's finally came in (back ordered for 3 weeks) and 2 out of 4 are damaged and I'm missing a center cap! The one that was damaged with the center cap was obviously re-taped. It looked like they just slid them across the floor! They lips were damaged through a thick piece of cardboard, sheet of plastic, methods cloth dust cover, a thick lip protector and a piece of foam packaging.... ALL THE WAY TO THE METAL!!! WTF UPS???

Not to mention that the wheels were also banded together within another 2 pieces of cardboard. This is ridiculous! How careless can you be??

As soon as I noticed I called up 4 Wheel Drive Hardware and within 15 minutes I had a claim approved and my new wheels are on the way. Very pleased with their customer service. I should have the two replacement wheels by the end of the week and they told me to keep the center cap from the other damaged wheel! Denise also told me that if UPS doesn't pick them up I can keep them and do whatever I want with them. Tailgate or chase rack mounted spare tires!! lol

Dropped off my truck at the dealership today, they are gonna fix a door panel crack under warranty, install the free LTE upgrade, oil change with K&N filter and synthetic oil, front window tint to the same as passenger rear seats, and a full detail with wax (I have never waxed it myself :S)

Hoping to come back from my work shift to another brand new truck experience!

Is the LTE upgrade only available to Canadians or something?

    • 2024 Chevrolet 2500 HD Custom 6.6 Gas Canadian built Truck  I tried to search for my previous thread on this topic but cant find it so my apoligies  for starting another one    #1   Since we have owned our truck purchased new it has this strange noise after using the remote start function  you press the remote start and you hear it start but right at the end of it starting it almost seems like it wants to start again after the truck is running .   There is no gap in time it is right at the end of the start . Almost sounds like when you have started a car/truck and its running and then you try and start it again and you get that grinding noise ,sort of     #2  You can only hear this if you are standing outside of the truck and near the truck  you cant hear it when you start the truck from inside  the cab . So it may very well be happening when starting the truck that way as in normally    #3   This only happens when it is started after sitting . For how long I don't know but it happens after sitting overnight for sure and it wont do it if you stop the engine after starting and then start it again  I have had it in to the Dealership before concerning this but they did not have the truck  when it was cold to hear it . Now its back in the Dealership left it overnight so they could possibly hear the problem . They said they tried and nothing happened . Well they did not know what they were listening for . I started the truck remotely and BINGO it makes the noise . Oh that sounds weird they say . We need to look into it ! I have left for this week at the Dealership    Does your 2024 2500 HD gas do this ?  Any of you fellas care to take the time and trouble to film this operation from a cold start  so I can hear what your sound like  Really  would like to know if this is anormal sound  Thank You Fellas !!
    • 2026 Z71.  The other day I was backing a trailer into the barn.  The alarm was going off just because the trailer was in the field of the warning sensors when you get too close to something.  For some reason now the warning alarm doesn't work anymore.  It used to go off when I was just normally backing my truck into garage.  I still have the guidelines in the back up camera.  Is there a button or something to push to turn the sound/Alarm on and off?  I have the touch screen in this truck.  There isn't a "P" on the dash except for the parking brake.  I can't find anything in the touch screen under settings or vehicle.  Thank you in advance.
    • Well one of our most reliable vehicles was sold yesterday. The first and only I gave for free to a grandkid. If they got skin in the game they take care of it. My wife bought new. Five years later my daughter got it to use. We got it back and gave it to our grandson after graduation. He did zero maintenance just oil changes. When the AC quit he drove his mother’s car rather than get it fixed. Instead he just bought a beater and sold the Elantra.
    • I usually do as well or better than the sticker for mileage. Usually better going west than east. North then South. Wind makes a difference. I’m not usually a conspiracy theorist. But it did dawn on me I’m going by the vehicle calculation. Now that would be interesting.
