Any Canadians have these problems? Apparently I am the first/only case gm canada has of non working LEDs on the radio knobs. I was told fm reception is fine and not an issue in these vehicles.

Have you told dealer to open case for you? They have involved gm engineers for led issue but are doing nothing for fm reception.

Radio lights fine, FM reception total crap. I have a wind up radio that's receives the signal further.

My radio knob lights don't work, but I haven't done anything about it. Haven't noticed any problems with FM radio reception.

I'm wondering how many more thread like this one gonna pop up in the K2 section?

My knobs have a red glow around them. Is this what you mean by lit up. As far as my fm reception, I think it's normal. I noticed my fav radio station fading a little in my 08.

I'm on Vancouver island. I don't think any GMCs have problems with the knob lights. My fm reception is very disappointing. Poor sound quality with static even when I'm in whichever town the station is from. Vancouver, Seattle, Portland or here at home, all the same, crap. Then if you get out of town, the signal is unlistenable way sooner than my old truck (2000 Silverado).

I'm going to try a new antenna. The stubby one looks cool and it's only $20. I don't think swapping the antenna cable will be too hard either. I'll wait till other people, with more skill, replace theirs with successful results before I attempt that.

I LOVE my truck. This is only a little inconvenient, not a huge deal.

Really feel for the Silverado guys with the knob thing though, I'd be very upset about that. I think Chevy will eventually fix the lights. I also think we'll be on our own with the radios though.

Exactly. Now we have to split it up between US and Canada when all of the trucks are made on the same lines.

I would give the Canuks a pass for starting a separate thread. Sometime it is useful in problems like this for two different paths beating on GM corporate to get resolved.

We (Canadians) contact a different gm headquarters. So it would be nice to have support because I was told it is the first case gm has heard off. You would think it is the same truck with same problem therefore same fix.
