Picking up my first Silverado this weekend, a 2015 4x4 LT Double Cab. GM wants $700 over my lease term for their tonneau cover, so I'm planning to go aftermarket for much cheaper.

I've been looking into the following cover at the link below.

Has anyone had this cover before? I would love to hear feedback. I'm leasing the truck, so I'm just looking for something to keep the snow/dirt/etc. out of the bed and to keep anything I put back there relatively dry.

Seems like the reviews say it gets the job done.

I have the 4-section Fold-a-Cover from the factory with the Personal Caddy. If I did it over I would get just a simple 3-section tonneau such as the Backflip or the TonnoPro. I never use the personal caddy (despite that I thought I would), and the 4 fold does not allow me to expose the entire bed. I've thought about switching it out, but given the $$ that I have in it I'd hate to do that.

I installed the Extang Solid Fold and love it. A little pricey but very sturdy, waterproof (so far) and very easy to install and take off. Makes the bed a secure area for carrying things.

I installed an Extang Encore on my new 2015 High Country. Again very pricey but very nice. This is a hard tri-fold

which you can fold up and lift off with no tools. It is pretty heavy at 50+lbs but you stand it up vertical after folding

and lift it off while standing centered in the bed.

I had an Extang Full Tilt on my 2003 Silverado SS and was very pleased. This was a standard soft cover with the

entire frame hinged at the cab. You could roll it up and pull out the cross braces or remove the entire thing. Very

light, just don't try it by yourself on a windy day. I did need to replace the cover itself once in the 12 years I had the truck.

The replacement cover was only $60.

So far I'm pretty impressed with Extang products.

I installed the Access Laredo, while not as "fancy" as some of those mentioned above, it works great! Easy on, easy off. Rolls up nice. Allows full use of the bed grab handles. And less expensive than those mentioned above.

I had the Tonnopro tri fold on my '13. Was Ok for the price. No real issues. Had an Extang Trifecta on my '14. NOT impressed! Have a Truxedo LO Pro on my '15. So far so good.

I owned an Extang Solid Fold on my last vehicle and upgraded to the Extang Encore this time around. I like the tri-fold more than the quad because you have more access when you open just the front section. Its sturdy enough that you can stand on it. Pricey, like mentioned before, but I've also found that if you get a quality cover that can withstand your abuse that you can probably sell it for half of what you bought it for when you're ready to trade in to get a new truck. Or... if you get the same size truck, you can just bring it with you.

I was considering the tonnopro hard fold but decided on a undercover flex. So far so good on the flex. I too am leasing but will probably buy out at the end. Figured i could sell the flex if i did turn the truck in at lease end. Good luck with your decision.

My buddy has a tonnopro on his silverado, I have a undercover flex on my sierra, I'd get the tonno pro if I had to do it again, the flex leaks, its a poor design compared to covers like the tonnopro for water resistance.

I have a TonnoPro on my '15 Denali... I like it, I think its a really good value for the cost. Sure there are nicer covers out there, but for anything near this price range I think the TonnoPro is the best. I paid $259 for mine on Amazon.

I'm surprised your flex leaks. Mine has very little leakage, mostly around the tailgate. I have a tailgate seal kit that needs to be installed with warmer weather. I'm hoping that will solve the issue.

Three panel Bak covers are only available for the short bed. Anything 6'6" and up is a four-panel cover. I didn't know that until AFTER mine arrived as they don't tell you squat about their covers on their site. What's worse, the third panel doesn't have any latches to hold it in the rail - it relies on the panel in front of and behind it to hold it down.

I was seriously thinking about going to the F-A-C instaed, but you can't get more than 75% of your bed opened up (one panel always remains folded down) without completely removing it. At least the Bak covers will fold up almost completely out of the way. Still, I'm not convinced that I'm keeping the Bak cover on my truck. If I find something that mounts and seals better, I'll be swapping.

It mostly just leaks at the tailgate it's not that bad, it keeps 98% of it out now that I've fixed the seals that popped loose.
