i like my 14 and also like the new look of the 16 grill / lights/ etc...

but what i really want to know is..........

can i get an update on the mylink like what is shown in the pics with the apple apps showing up on the display???????????

kinda pisses me off !!! we 14/15 folks should have had this feature when the introduced the trucks.

gm should have had this shit figured out before they release the mylink in these trucks...

i guess they put more effort into the Sierra than they did the Silverado.

i like the new face lift they did on it. headlights looks sick, front end just looks tuff!

im not sure how i feel about the fog lights, i mean they look great but if one cracks or burns out i like to be able to swap the bulbs and not the full housing. i feel the same way about all LED tail lights, sure they look great but if it blows out do i need to buy a $2-400 tail light housing?

No chance GM offers a update to CarPlay. The current systems wouldn't support it. Your best bet is to get the screen mirroring setup from MVI. See here:

I'm going that route.

Prepare to be more irritated in the coming years as GM along with other mfg's have said there will be much greater differential between each model year in technology.

The next best thing is always just around the corner. You just have to sort of make the deal when you are ready.

Headlights, taillights, and bumper with fogs (get rid of this paint chipped one for chrome). Probably too much cost.....by the time I did all that I could be real close to jut getting a 2016.

I would do headlights though....

Now where is the sticky thread for the retrofit.......

I like the headlights and taillights but they will be supper pricy I am sure to retrofit. I bet each headlight is $1000 minimum. Grill and bumper I prefer my 2014. I hope to atleast get some of the taillights

I just want the tail lights!

Same here! Hopefully they will fit prior models as bed looks same.

Not true. The Cadillac Escalade (with LEDs) was recently rated as having the best light output in the industry - even beating HID lights. Consumer Reports said that it was the first time it had EVER rated a vehicle as having 5 stars for night lighting.

Without pictures or data I guess we just have to take their word on it? lol Until proven otherwise I still stand by HID>LED.

Search the web. I saw another article comparing the Yukon Denali HIDs to the Escalade LEDs. And most of the luxury brands are moving to LEDs now as well.
