Just bought my first new car, ever- had to go Chevy. Looking forward to making my truck my own, and to learn more from all the experienced members. Lots of great looking trucks to get inspiration from. Bought a Tungsten Metallic 5.3L V8 Chevy 1500 Double Cab.

What do you think my first add-on should be (bed-liner, tool box, level kit, etc.)? Photos below, need to take better ones.

Cheers!

welcome Louisiana guy here. if you want to start on the cheaper on your list go with a level kit. I got my 2" level for about $60 bucks off of amazon. I still havent put it on yet, hopefully i'll do it in the spring

Thanks for the response. I decided to go with the level first, hoping to get it done in the next few weeks. I don't have a garage or anything at the moment (living in an apartment), so I am asking shops around here in BR on install estimates.

I see you're from Lafayette -- that's where I bought my truck, from Service Chevrolet. Had a good experience with them.

oh yeah Service is a good place, I havent personally bought a vehicle from them but my dad and grandfather has bought a few.

I bought my truck from Sterling GMC in Opelousas. I didnt care for the chevy look.

for pricing for a level kit around here; for a shop to buy it, do the install, and alignment was around $330

I got a quote from another tire/ accesories shop just for install and alignment was $220

I'm just going to do the install myself and go get it aligned to save me some cash.
