Vegan Leather In Your Next GM? Good Business Or Misguided?

I thought we paid extra to get away from vinyl seats... now we pay extra, extra to get vinyl? Forget fancy names- there's leather, cloth, and vinyl...

I ordered my new 2008 GMC 1500 with VINYL seats on purpose. I want my $ss to slip around and get comfortable.

As far a leather goes.

Where do these hipsters think all of the hides go for that nice prime rib? They are recycled into car seats. Not tossed into a landfill.

Sometimes the world is upside down.

These morons who don't like leather don't eat meat either. And not just because they like animals, they want to do way with all cattle since they fart and add to the methane problems.

But I'm like you, I want leather on my seats, and a steak in my stomach. They don't like what I sit on or eat, it. too bad.

I had to laugh at the "Vegan Leather is better for the environment" comment. I'm pretty sure making anything synthetic has always been a big drain on the environment.

I like leather, but in limited amounts. Steering wheels, dashes, shifters, etc. Leather there is awesome and helps in many ways too. But in seats, I find leather less comfortable than many other great materials.
