What tuner works with a 2017 6.0 Liter gasser

I have a 2017 GMC Denali HD with the 6.0 Liter gas motor.  I can't seem to find a performance tuner that fits this year.  Anyone out there find one and if so how is it?  I'm looking to tune for gas mileage, I haul a truck camper and get terrible gas mileage, could be my lead foot too LOL

I have a 2015 6.0 2500hd.. I went with a custom tune from CZIPAR Performance from Dubuque, IA 563-599-8492. Night and day difference in performance on the truck.. Cleaner, crisper shifting. The mileage stayed the same. But much more usable power! Stay a way from the "box tunes" - in store tunes. Find a reputable custom tuner in your area.

Sorry, I searched for my question on performance tuners for a 2017 and found no threads related

Also none of the tuner manufacturers list product for the 2017 6.0L gasser so...

Unfotunately your carrying a big heavy sail around. Your mileage is going to take a hit regardless of what you do.

It's not even the weight, it's the sail part that hurts the most. When I had a slide in, it would drop my diesel (2004.5 Dodge 2500 Cummins, NV5600 6spd manual, 4.10 rears) from a trip average of 21mpg to a trip average of 14.5mpg, and that one only weighed a little more than 1k pounds.

I would call someone like Blackbear and see what they can do for you...talk to someone who does this.

I to have been looking because I changed tire size. I was told the ECM in the 2017's changed quite a bit. It added the control of all four tires for both power or brake to control a slide and these changes are creating challenges to create a new tuner. If you do find one pass it along. I am still looking.

Just get a real tune with hp or efi as stated lol. The 17s tune just fine... I should know considering I have done mine and run a 34" tall tire.  They do use double the credits the older trucks did with hp but it's no big deal.

I would call Black bear.

You will gain power, well torque management anyways and it will clean up the shifts but it will do nothing for mileage.

You saved 10k by buying a gasser now pony up at the gas station and enjoy the trouble free drivetrain.

What is "double the credits" mean. I looked at EFIlive and I'm not sure about working with them as they are in New Zealand, and HP does not even list a phone number, that could be a problem. What did you use?

It means it uses 4 licensing credits instead of 2.  I don't think hp has a listed phone number... you aren't going to buy HP or EFIlive... you will find someone who does custom tuning with one or the other.  It's not software a guy buys like a handheld lol.  I own both but I do my own tuning too.  I used HP because I have a tuner doing my tune... then I modify it myself for fine tuning lol.

That is not the way it works.

A tuner uses EFI or HP as the tuner yet they load their programs into it.

Simply put they hook a cable up to your OB port that plugs into their laptop, they then alter the stock settings for more timing, less fuel, less torque management, less shift time, more line pressure, raised shift points, etc, etc.
