GM-Trucks.com is excited to announce that we will be one of the first to test the new LOMAX Hard Tri-Fold bed cover from Agri-Cover , Inc. Agri-Cover is a friend and sponsor of GM-Trucks.com and already has ACCESS and LOMAX covers ready to go for the new 2019 GMC Sierra and Silverado. As you may know from watching Zane's updates, the new GM-Trucks.com Silverado is on order, built, and has been sitting in Indiana for about three weeks. We hope to have it arrive for dealer delivery shortly. Once it arrives, we will be fitting it with the bed cover and doing a full review of both the truck and the cover. Agri-Cover has bed covers available for GMC and Chevy trucks from 1999-2019.

Will this bed cover work with the GM accessories side mounted bed storage box?

Do the clamps used for install get in the way?

Posted

Does this cover allow the tailgate to automatically release as designed? The Extang trifecta 2.0 does not.

Also what’s with the badge on the bedside???

Badge is for the X31 off road package.

For 2019, GMC now calls the Z71 an X31 package.

Z71 is exclusive to Chevrolet now.

Unfortunately we have not tested a truck with this accessory yet. The bed storage box is very close to the rail lip, with our current clamping style we anticipate the clamps would not fit with the accessory in place.

Yes, we have tested this and all of our covers work with the automatic tailgate feature. On some applications a slightly higher install may be needed to ensure the tailgate works properly. Installing higher than normal will allow less pressure to be put on top of the tailgate, still allowing it to open.

I have the LOMAX on my 2014 Silverado.  That thing is awesome!  Someone tried to pry it open to get access to the bed.  They damaged the edge of the cover, but the latches held!
