Summer Vacation road trip to EL PASO TX.
Was pretty fun driving through the mountains and hearing the exhaust nice rumble with the flapper open and resonators covered up as the truck climbed up the hills. I even got to see a message on the DIC that said something like “hill assist engaged” I never touch the descending button this was on the way up. Overall the truck did great and the mileage was okay considering the hills on the highway and high speeds of up to 88 on some areas.

This is great feed back. Always curious of people’s mpg, is that 5.3/8 or 6.2/10?

First time GM owner. Until Wendesday, I had previously ONLY owned Toyotas. Wife, new baby, and I took our brand new 19' Silverado Custom Trail Boss to the mountains for some fly fishing, picnicking, and forest road exploring, this weekend and REALLY ENJOYED THIS TRUCK.

How has the first year of ownership going? I am in the same boat, growing family outgrowing my 11 yo Tacoma, leaning towards TB/AT4 as a replacement.

Finally pulled the trigger, even though I always said it was too much to pay for a truck.

one of the sales reps. at the dealership where I bought mine bought the white twin to it. I have seen black, red, and blue in person. If the blue one was the same spec., I would have bought it. I like red, it just wasn't the red I wanted and also not the same spec.

Looks good! I’m getting an LTZ, and I’m torn between putting just a leveling kit and 275/65r20...or getting the trail boss kit and a leveling kit like yours, and doing the 285/65r20. Your truck makes me want the 285s!

FWIW, for some reason this size KO2 is about the same as a 275 in any other tire. Is damn near the same width as the stock duratracs. A good bit taller (1.5”) though. Just seems like the BFG’s run a hair skinnier than all other tires.

Otherwise,  I really love the ride quality of the TB lift. I put a 1.5” motofab level, and it could use a touch more in my opinion. So I just bought the 2” motofab and some RC 3.5” lifted upper control arms. Going to get them on whenever they get here. I’ll post more pics. ??

For the price, I'd consider a RST with the trailboss lift kick installed. You can snag some added features for the same price or less and still rock the trailboss lift! I only say that because the LT Trailboss is a pretty penny and very similar features as the LT.

In with the new AT4 out with the old All-Terrain. Definitely a major upgrade from last generation.

(Ignore the mess, house just got hit by a really bad storm)

Sweet Ride! How did you make out on lease terms and payment if you don't mind me asking?
