Just picked this up yesterday. My last two trucks were Summit White so this time around I went with the Carbon Black Matalic. 2c61469951411d67bdb00fd0c39968f1.jpg8699e8ee27368698fa0cf04634e3cc45.jpg

Just picked her up Friday. 2020 LT Trail Boss, 5.3 liter. Didn’t really want the running boards or sports bar, but stock was very limited and I really wanted the color and standard bed. I’m actually starting to like the look. I’m very happy so far. First Chevy. Coming from a Ram 1500.

What tonneau covers can I use with the sport bar?

GM has a soft roll up tonneau cover that work for about $500. I had no difficulty at all getting the Rough Country trifold tonneau to install, but you won't be able to fully open the tonneau cover beyond the first section due to the sport bar angling inward and getting in the way. I have the short bed on my truck. Your result may be slightly different due to having a longer bed. With that said, I also installed the Rough Country before I installed the sport bar. Before selecting a tonneau cover my dealer also told me the $2500 GM Accessories roll up tonneau cover would work too. a7748be62fe3d8ad9013dd516f06aa10.jpg

Thanks Transient, useful information. It seems that my options are going to be limited.

The soft root up will be my fallback. Not sure I am willing to spend $2500.

You're welcome. I'm glad my experience was able to help you. It was a struggle for me to get answers when I was looking. I was getting bad info from dealer (and could tell instantly), and not much else out there for info. Beware that if you try remove the sport bar you will have to deal with electrical in the fuse block to make the high mount stop light above your rear window function.

Is that with the helper bags? How's it ride?

I've got a 3/5 going in in a week or so; Belltech spindles and struts in the front, Maxtrac flip kit in the back......but I've been told that the ride would be really rough with that much drop in the back, without doing a notch; be good to hear from someone who's actually gone that low.

How you liking having the sunroof tinted?  you pay someone or do it yourself?

I love it.  It keeps it just as cool from the sun as if you had the cover closed without it being as dark.  I had it done at the same time when I had it in for the ceramic coating.

First 'almost' new Chevy in a while, last one was a 2013 BlackDiamond LTZ Avalanche.  Bought this 2019 with 8000 miles.    No mods yet except for LineX  bed liner.  The step bars come already on it,  and less than two months already showing signs of wear.  LineX guys said they would spray them for 200 bucks if I ever decide to get them done.

Yeah mine started showing wear right away. I'm easy on them so definitely disappointed from the durability aspect.
