Strong fuel smell in cab and from engine

2017 Silverado z71. Really strong fuel smell in cab especially on a fast stop and rough road turning. Seems ok mostly then very strong smell. Heat or ac makes worse. Dealer replace left fuel rail system last week. Still issue. Bought truck a month ago. 10k miles and was lease return in Detroit area. Now in SC.

Did you smell it BEFORE they replaced the fuel rail? Either way I would take it back.

Subscribed to hear final resolve. Have them take pics of the fuel injectors. They are known to leak. Also check all emissions hoses and parts back to the tank.

According to carfax was a GM lease originally then auctioned to my local GM dealer

They replaced left fuel rail due to smell. Didn’t solve it.

I would request a maintenance history on it.

Clearly you have a leak, based on symptoms, it's in the engine compartment. I would take it in for service immediately and drive as little as possible. Engine compartment fires are bad news.

Few months ago I bought a Silverado 1500 LT 5,3 year 2019. A month later I smelt gas inside the cab. I went to the Chevy dealer ten times and they found than two injectors were leaking. They fixed it, but it’s still the same problem.
