I know there is extensive topic on this bit my question is a little different.

I have all the the symptoms I have read about in other forums but I do NOT have any Check engine lights, transmission lights, or codes.

My dealership said there is nothing nothing they can do and GM will not do anything unless it has had any of the above.

Anyone else run run into this ?

Always request a the full print out of ALL in codes in history. It is all you have to prove or disprove things. There are more codes that don't post or set the light off.
But assuming then is nothing in history. The way it works is the dealer can still write it up as a felt issue when driving.
Truth is the dealer worries about not being paid by GM and knows it can get expensive. So they play damage control and send you on your way.
That said start saving you dollars up.

Call GM customer care.

Can they make the dealer do a fluid swap or reprogram?

I can't speak for them!  Call them with your concerns and see what they can do for you!

They can't make them do anything, but they can authorize and pay the dealer to do it. Dealer just wants to make sure somebody is going to pay for the work

The work make them do is strong but I will tell you if there local gm service rep tells them to do it and gives a authorization code to you/them. 100% they will do it. I would do a pan drop and look at the magnetic ring.

I have a 2017 suburban 5.3l six speed and it’s smooth as glass when stopping (no sudden down shifting and feeling like the drive shaft is falling out.) My 2018 Silverado 5.3 l 6 speed feels like u are getting rear ended some times when coming to a stop. They say this is normal for a truck. Is the programming different for a suburban than a truck even though it’s the same drive train?
