brianc636 Posted August 25, 2019 Posted August 25, 2019 I really wanted those steps but now the boss says Santa is gonna bring Amp research steps for Christmas.
jordanl010 Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 (edited) I am sure this has been answered already but just wanted to verify before I placed an order. Will a 2" lower mount front level kit (rough country) fit a 2019 gmc sierra SLE? So not factory lift like the AT4 or anything like that. Looking at ordering this for the front: https://www.roughcountry.com/gm-leveling-lift-kit-1307.html And this for the rear: ( I looked and it appears I have a block already in the rear, so could I do a 2 in block to maintain some rake?) https://motofablifts.com/i-30558232-2-rear-leveling-lift-kit-for-2007-2019-chevy-silverado-sierra-gmc.html?ref=category:1390569 Would this cause any issues? Yes, that will work for your gmc.

I have been diving into this forum as I just got my truck Wednesday last week so still researching my options. Would there be any issues that anyone can think of going this route? Would I need strut extensions or anything for the back?
mr. t Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Where can I find a 1" rear block for my '19 Silverado? Motofab only has for old body style. Rough country does not have them either?
Thejet07 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Motofab is a 2”. It fits. New truck doesn’t have a block where as old truck has a 1”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jordanl010 Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 For all you DIY guys, where did you place your jack points? Pictures would help. I see the circular plates and read through the manual but its just side by side. Using a standard floor jack and research, not sure without an adapter, I can't seem to figure it out without trial and error on my new truck .

Bluerado23 Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Any issues with the Ready lift? I'm looking at doing the same. Rough Country keeps getting thrown around by my installer. None at all, that’s what my local dealer had in stock when I purchased the truck so that’s what they put on. I had rough country on my 15 duramax with control arms and shocks all around I never had any issues with that. I do have to say I did it for budget reasons and temporary lift, if I had everything may way I would just do a bds kit Or some type of coil overs and control arms 1
Bigfoot16 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Okay.. so after reading all this.. how much rake do the trucks really have? 1.5" or 2"? Are they different between models? Thanks
