Tailgate Letter Inserts

Anyone have any luck with tailgate letter inserts?  Was interested in getting some, but wasn't sure what color to go with on my Northsky Blue Metallic.  White might make it pop, but the silver/aluminum or American flag might look cool too.  Any pictures on yours might help me as well.  Thanks in advance.

Depends on the color of  the rest of the vehicle trim....chrome bumpers, go chrome, black bumper, go black    or just go black and match the tires...black goes with anything....decide chrome, keep the chrome emblems, black you can always match with black emblems.

Thanks guys, those both look nice.  I have the chrome bumper and was planning on keeping the chrome emblems, so I will probably go with chrome.  I see one thumbs up for BD Trims; I was between them and EyeCatcher.  Anyone else have any positive/negative feedback on either of those companies?

Don't go with a flag design. That'll look tacky... I ordered a set of domed chrome letters from BD trims but sent them back. Didn't like them. They were a soft flexible rubber like material (polyurethane maybe?) and weren't mirror bright like OEM emblems. I found a set of ABS chrome plastic letters on ebay that look really nice and should match the factory emblems which are ABS.

Yes. They're really nice. Not really bright and tacky. That's the last thing I wanted lol.

These are lower key and look really good.

I get a lot of compliments about them.

Here's a picture of my tailgate letter inserts. Definitely changes the look for the better. So glad I did it. I highly recommend this mod as it's cheap and nice. Easy to put on too!

BD Trims... I bought it on amazon for like $45.

These trucks look so much better with the letters filled in. Chevy should have done this from the start. At least on the higher trims.
