Is that actual hand calculated mpg? or Computer readout?

Rest assured my friend. It's the real deal.

Hell, in my 07 Classic, she got great gas mileage at 17 and 19. I could always go about 375 miles to fill up. Sometimes, very rarely 400 miles.

This last tank I went 486 miles with 97 miles before empty lol. ( the gas gauge was half way between a quarter and empty, maybe a hair bit more towards a quarter than empty)And, after I fill up my range says 571 miles. I dont doubt it one bit, if I kept my driving easy and not hot rod her.

Now, its not like that when shes brand hammer new. She will gradually build up, rather quickly I might add. These T1 trucks get phenomenal mileage.

Btw, its calculated as well. Drove 486 miles, and added 21 gallons of fuel a little over 23 miles per gallon if not mistaken.

Where was your truck built?  Is it based on trim or body style? I have a Double Cab and have the SU5 axle.

Built at Fort Wayne Assembly 4/27/19. If you have a SU5 axle you should have no issues

Here is my build sheet data, obtained from QR Code Reader on the door and google look up.  I don't see either SU5 or SU4???

That is not your build sheet. Therefore it does not indicate what axle you have

I'd bet 2020s are going to kill it now that they're FINALLY getting around to adding ACC

Yeah, not to mention expanded 6.2 and 10 speed availability, better infotainment with SiriusXM 360, and so on. It’s getting close to the truck they should have released in the first place, and undoubtedly only going to get better.

The trucks started moving when they got right on the discounts. They even got my money with $10K off MSRP and a decent offer on my trade.

And

+1 on the MPG - I used a little more than 21 gallons to travel 495 miles (all interstate).

For those of you getting the really good MPG what motor/transmission?  5.3 with 8 sp?

I did a 90 mile round trip through Fort Worth to just west of town the other day doing 70mph on the cruise, with a little slow down traffic. I got around 23mpg.

Did a 45 mile round trip to Dallas this AM, a few slow downs to 40-50mph, but mostly just 65-70mph on the freeways, hit 23mpg again.

I have the 5.3L / A8. This kind of mileage is very common for 70mph and under on flat roads with little wind. Once you go above 70mph, it starts to drop into the 18-20mpg range. A few of the trips to East Texas when I was doing 75-80mph, I did around 18mpg avg. Which is still pretty darn good.

...and to think that when I was in the buying process for my RST, I strongly considered an F-150 Lariat with the 3.5L Ecoboost. My natural-breathing V8 does just as well, and sounds 100X better. ?

I can vouch for the gas mileage part.. I have the 5.3 RST with V8, gas mileage is impressive. Got 28.5 after a 60-mile trip back and forth from the airport but that was after employing all kinds of hypermiling techniques.
