2002 Silverado shakes while slowing down

Hello,

 

I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 5.3 litre 4x4 that is experiencing an issue when I brake. I have about 120k miles and for example when I am on interstate and coming up to an exit I am noticing a considerable amount of shake when applying the brake.

 

I have 4 wheel disc brakes. Just last night I replaced the front rotors and pads with Napa premium rotors and trustop ceramic pads. It still does it just not as much so I suspect a warped one in the rear. Before replacing the pads and rotors in the front we noticed the original pads were just fine.

 

Any thoughts here? I really want to get rid of this shake when slowing down. There is no shake any other time unless I apply brake.

Jack up the front wheels and check for play left to right and up and down. Have you checked your tie rods?

I guess we didn't check for play in the tires. Can you give me instructions on checking the tie rods? I'm not very mechanically inclined.

Here's a YouTube video. Same concept as I described. First try without removing the tire.
