Has anyone done a 2" in the front and 2" blocks in the back? I would like to keep some rake to it and thinking about getting the kit from motofab. Just wondering if anyone had pics of it done and quality of the kit. Thanks

I too wanted some rake because I tow. Overall I think I lost about 3/4"-1" of rake. I have the 2" Motofab kit and the quality has been great/no issues. Not much to it but you do need to drop the ball joint for the Motofab kit. I have hellwig 987 helper springs as well.

Man there are some sharp looking trucks with just the leveled system. I plan on doing a 2.5" front with a 3" rear block. Just don't quite know what I want to run for wheels and tires yet.

Havok H109s 20x10's or 20's GMC Sierra Stockers...

Man, I like those GMC wheels, they're nice!

Yeah me too! just waiting on a few things then ordering my leveling kit and tires and wheels.

Last question what size tires are you running

Hey guys! So I know this is probably one of the most covered topics of all but I'm hoping to find a little more info on wheel/tire fittment with a leveling kit. At this point I'm leaning towards the RC 2" front level for now. I have set of 17x9s picked out because I like more tire and less wheel. I've read through this thread till I was blue in the face and couldn't find much of an answer. I'm trying to decide between 0 or -12 offset and then also between 285/70's and 295/70's. Just wondering if anybody with experience with these sizes could chime in if possible so I can't get these wheels and tires coming. I found a ton of info on stock wheels but not as on wheels with these specs. The -12 offset wheels with 295/70 would be best case scenario for me but I'm guessing 0 offset carries less of a chance of rubbing? Thanks in advance for any and all input guys!

several people on here run 0 offset 17's with 295/70/17 Toyo RT's and dont have any problems. It will work. I dont know for a fact, but I would almost guarantee that -12 offset with those tires will rub... sticks too far out.

I would do 0 offset and the 295s... i think you'll be happy you did.

Thanks for the input! I was hoping somebody on here was running a -12 with not too much rubbing. I'm ok with a little bit of wheel well trimming or pulling back. I've been scrolling through customwheeloffset.com and found a 2014 with 3" motofab front level running the exact setup I mentioned and claims no rubbing or trimming. I think the 3" level is a little too much for the front end but did find a 2.5" from motofab so I've decided on that now. Any thoughts on this?

Why did you remove the kit? Was the ride that bad?

    • 2020 2500 HD...I had some trouble getting the key into the ignition switch but went in fine after applying some extra effort. Since then, the door chimes when open when the key is out of the ignition. Also, when I lock the doors with the switch on the arm rest, the driver door locks but then unlocks. (I can lock everything fine with the fob) The message on the little screen displays the "Engine Hours"...kinda weird.   I'm guessing something happened to the ignition switch and it thinks the key is still in there. I unplugged the batteries for 20 minutes, no change. There are a number of videos on YouTube but nothing I can find that address this specific issue. Ideas appreciated, thank you.
    • Based on what I can tell, yes.   As for updating it, its a mixed bag.  Updates do fix a lot of issues, but occasionally can create some oddities.  They do more good than harm though overall.     Here's what the most current one does and a  V171 Improvements Important: Improvements will vary by model, build configuration, system, and sales region. • Looking for help troubleshooting a metallic like front end rattle. Figured I’d see if anyone had thoughts before I schedule an appointment with the dealer.   The rattle is fairly loud and occurs primarily when the front driver side wheel hits a bump, even fairly minor road seams. Sometimes does it when the passenger hits a bump but I don’t believe when the rear hits. Rattle still occurs when foot is pressing brake peddle so I think that rules out the caliper rattle I’ve read about. I’ve also checked the running boards and they are tight.   Most noticeable at slow speeds.    Any insight is appreciated.
    • We try to make cruise the coast. It’s where our favorite casino is. I only want to spectate. Never took a car. Always had one to take. I belonged to a club once. Even when I used to drag raced. It was during test and tune. Probably because I’m not a night owl, party person.
    • We had a pretty big cars and coffee in Indy this past weekend.  Pretty much anything and everything was there.
