Today I installed the driver side Go Rhino Dominator D4 step. I like the look of the bar very much. Although i do feel like it hangs a bit low and sticks out a bit too much. I'm also concerned with the weight limit...250 pounds? Thats mostly ok, but what about when BIG father in law (300 Pounds) hops in?

My second choice would be Nfab wheel to wheel polished with 2 steps.

Any thoughts and opinions on the way the Dominator D4 looks and/or the light weight limits?

I do have pics of the smittybilt version of the nfabs, not mounted, but positioned on jack stands that i can post if anyone would like to see.

TIA

Too be honest, I haven't even looked into weight limit. MY best friend is 400 lbs. My 3" tube Westons on my old '98 and also his '06 Sierra held/hold his weight just fine and so far the N-fabs on my '14 have held up great with him and he usually gets in the truck at least once a week.

I like the wheels! Doesn't look that level though?

Slope was downhill, sits about .5" higher in the back, prefer a small amount of rake

Added Stubby antenna from AntennaX. There is a loss of signal quality while going under a bridge from one particular station in DFW but their antenna is pretty far away and no other stations mimic that effect.

Also took the chrome silverado & LT badges off the rear. Added Carbon Fiber vinyl to the bowties front and back. Think it goes excellent with the Tungsten.

Put the LED pods in. Haven't wired them yet, I'll do that this week.

Thanks, I'm hoping I don't have to worry about it. I actualy called Go Rhino today and they say not to worry...

Has anyone removed the black plastic bumper steps on the rear bumpers? I want to install some LEDs to light those areas up, but just from a quick glance, it didn't seem obvious on how to accomplish that.

More importantly, VLEDS did me right and sent me an all new HD Hanes, 2 new ballasts, and wiring to replace the one that I originally bought and was burning up at the connection! They were understanding, and apologized several times, even sent me the replacement gear via Priority mail! Finally had a chance this weekend to swap everything out. No more worries about my lights not working or burning up the truck!

Washed it…

Then took it to the beach…

Nice tire and rim setup...tell me more about them. Offset. Any rubbing or trimming? Do you think you could have gone a size larger in the KO2s?

Posted

There are 0mm offset, pro comp 6631's I believe. I did trim but that was for the -12mm rims I thought I was going to put on, these rims didn't need it… The BFG's are not on the truck right now, got a 1/2" bolt through one and didn't want to wait for the new tire to come in, so I put my 275/70/18" Duratracs back on for now. They are taller then the 285/65/18 BFG's and still don't rub… I've been mulling around the Idea of a 6.5" or 7" lift lately so I may be getting a different set of tires again… We'll see…
