Installed a Tyger rolling tonneau cover and, in doing so, discovered I had OEM bed lights.  Next project, removing the lights and installing LED strips in the bed.

Are you interested in selling the bed lights?

.. painted my calipers red to keep them from rusting... well I got 3 out of 4 done before it got dark.. progress is slow when it's the long weekend and the cherry moonshine ? is cold! :Plarge.20180901_195838.jpg.2b54541ac5580ddca73441e38be62cdc.jpglarge.20180901_195848.jpg.3167dfaea4141db58ee9282ab7ddb435.jpg

*Edit* Did some searching online but was unable to confirm what the torque spec for the bolts should be (do not have manual yet). I need both the front and rear for the caliper and spindle mounting bolts. Any help is much appreciated

*Edit v2* This seems to be the most popular search result online and are the values that I am going with..

Front caliper to bracket bolt - 74 ft.lbs.

Front caliper bracket to knuckle bolt - 170 ft.lbs.

Rear caliper to bracket bolt - 38 ft.lbs.

Rear caliper bracket to axle bolt - 148 ft.lbs.

What light strips are you going to use? can you link?
also is there a thread for this type conversion?

Once I remove them, yes, I would be open to that.  I was actually going to research here or reach out to @pgamboa to see if there is a female plug like that in the lights that I can get to make the install as clean as possible.  To be clear, I'm just removing the light 'pods' and wiring in string LED's using the OEM harness, I'm not removing the harness.

I haven't looked yet.  You can get rolls of string LED's with adhesive backing on Amazon for like $13 a roll.  I used 4 rolls of them before to put under the rail of a deck on my old house.  Those weren't bright enough for what I want to do here so I'd have to research it.

I would be curled up on the floor of the garage in the fetal position.  That looks like quite the daunting task.

Had these on my 2016 with Factory 22s... the fronts were making contact with the wheels and took them all off. Wasn’t happy about that!

I’ve done it 3 Times now. It’s not bad. Just a lot of 7mm bolts. I like to remove the wheel, turn signal lever and shifter. Makes it easier to remove the dash. Someone removing the entire steering wheel column is easier... maybe one day, I’ll try that on my truck.

Even swapped his glove box lock cylinder over for the OCD win ;)

Happy customer :)
