Tried out the wheel cleaner and Silk Shine rubber/plastic Protectant from the Chemical Guys detailing kit I received for Christmas.  I’m very impressed with wheel cleaner (water sheeted right off with no spotting or haze like the Jay Leno stuff I got the previous Christmas) and I will withhold critique on the tire shine until seeing how well it holds up.

Also installed reverse, cargo and license plate LED bulbs. I forgot to take a picture before but they are quite a bit brighter. I did the diode mod a while back to have the cargo lights come on when in reverse which didn’t help much with the backup camera but these LED’s make a huge difference when backing up at night.

All of the hose clamps I had were too small. Lol. I went out and grabbed some stainless zip ties to keep it on. It was just a temporary thing to get them up and secured.

Looks good, I really like the red and green hue that they cast up on your gutters.

Turned over 150,000 last night.

Fresh AC Delco plugs and Taylor wires today. Truck has 69000 miles on it so maybe a little early. Plugs don’t look too bad but I don’t think I’d would want to go another 30k miles per GMs recommendation.

As some may know I won a set of LasFit D5S led bulbs and I installed them last night all I can say is wow. I had aftermarket 35w hid but these blow them out of the water. Here are some pics outside of the truck and inside (I have 50% windshield tint.) First is low beam outside second is highbeam outside. 3rd is low beam inside and the 4th is high beam inside.
