Floor liners

I forgot I had these 2 pictures on my phone... shop manager sent me these for reference before making up my mind. They're a little dirty in the pics and for some reason always look more grey than black in pictures.

I'll update better pictures of the MAXpider's once i get the truck.

I've got the Aries 3D. Best mats I've ever owned (I've had Husky and WT). They stay in place, don't curl up and are cushioned.

I will be the odd man out, when I ordered my '14 3500 Chevy LT I ordered it with carpet delete and loved the rubber floor, I would order a Danali with rubber floor if it was a option, why do we spend $300 on floor lines to cover the carpet, same thing to me.

This is why I havent ordered any WT or Huskys for my front. I do have the WT's in the back where my kids always are, but I want to get something nicer looking for the fronts. Leaning towards the Lund Catch-It carpet mats.

pics? where did you get them?

I got them from Autoanything.com. They are called Aries 3D Floor Liners. Although they look gray in the pictures, these are the black ones which match my black carpet/interior well.

I have the WT and they are nice I like them better than what other have pictured as you could probably spill close to a gallon of liquid in them and they would hold it. They fit tight and look good. Only issue was when new they were kind of slippery at times. But after a few months of wear, nothing you can visibly see, but the rubber must needed to be scuffed to make them grip better.

This is my second truck with WeatherTechs. I wouldn't buy anything else personally. Tough as rocks, Top quality, perfect fit, and made in the USA. Can't really ask for much more than that.

I actually bought the Husky Liners for the front of my Silverado Double Cab and Weathertech liners for the rear after suggestions on the forums. I love the rear Weathertech's but I am not as big a fan of the front Husky Liners. I just ordered the Weathertech fronts and I am not completely pleased with those either. The fronts are made of a thicker material than the rears and do not lay down on the floor as the rears do (they are 1 ply). I like the look of the front Weathertech's and will use those I guess. The retention system is different as well on the Weathertech's than the Husky liners.

This time around I thought I'd try something different, went with the MAXpider 3D (same as Aries). I got them for a great price through my dealer and I think the weave pattern will compliment the All-Terrains carbon fiber looking interior.

I'll report back once I take delivery of my truck, should be before this weekend.

Got the truck finally and had a chance to take a few pics of the liners. Again these are the MAXpider 3D in black.

So far I'm impressed, they fit great right out of the box and I think they compliment the All-Terrains interior nicely.

They definitely have a tighter fit than Weather-Techs and the velcro like backing really grabs the carpet so there's no sliding.

Coverage is great, although the WT's do wrap up the sides more than the 3D's... but the WT's tend to curl in there so I wouldn't really call it a benefit.

Hopefully the wear as good as they look!

I drove down to Valley Truck Outfitters after work one day to look at tonneaus, and he had a set of Weathertechs in stock...his price was a little below online, so with tax it came out the same...

my '13 carpets were really crappy looking from salt, so I figured I better get them for the '15 before they look as bad...

I put the drivers side in right there, and they fit good, but I didn't put the grommets in till last weekend, and the moving around a bit did curl the side in...no big deal...

Will you talk about the grommet holes in this picture. Are they sealed? It appears as there is no sealing property and that dirt/fluid would get down in that hole and reach the carpet underneath of the mat. Is that accurate?

Yeah the grommets on the floor liner are a little larger and don't actually "snap" onto the floor post. I guess a little water could possibly seep down in there onto the carpet.

I opted to swap the grommets from the factory mats onto the 3d liners. Took about 5mins once I figured out how they were attached.

The factory floor mat grommets are just "snapped" together, a little careful prying and they'll pop right off. The 3d liner grommets are actually threaded together.

If you look on the backside there's two holes in the grommet, use a pair of needle nose pliers or large snap ring pliers if you have them to hold them in place. Then use a pair of channel lock pliers on the other side and unscrew the two pieces. Once you break them free they actually come off fairly easy. Then just snap the factory grommets onto the 3D liners and away you go!

Now they're completely sealed and secured to the floor post.

I put the husky xact in the front and weather tech in the rear. The huskys have been outstanding this winter thus far! I can't really speak for the weather tech beyond that they fit excellent. Backseat floors haven't seen much action.

Man, I'm really liking how those look. I just placed and order for the WT digital liners a couple days ago. Kind of wondering if I should order these two and compare then return the ones I don't want. These seem to blend in really well with the black carpet.
