Modification ideas for a first time truck owner

Hey everyone im new to this page and also a new truck owner. This is my first truck and im pretty excited. I have 2014 GMC Sierra SLE. Looking for customization ideas. Was thinking of putting a leveling kit so i can get a better rim and tire setup. Can someone with a similar set up please show me pics or set up of their truck? What else can l do to it to make it look betterÉ Thanks in advance. Im new to this stuff so please go easy on me.

Welcome and nice lookin truck! I'd recommend checking out the modification section on the forum, especially the lift and level threads. Should be a lot info that can give you some good ideas. All depends on what type of look you're after.

A forum is probably the best place to get ideas so you did come to the right place and I believe this forum is the best one when it comes to trucks in my opinion.

 

As for ideas, it all depends on what you want. Don't do anything just because it's the "thing" to do or have. I can't stand that.

 

It seems like the 2 biggest mods for the Sierra is upgrading the headlights since they're not so great (unless yours was one of them that was upgraded) and then changing out the grille to the All-Terrain grille. Other than that maybe exhaust, but that depends on if you like or hate how quite the engine and exhaust system is.

Welcome OP, you and I are in the same boat. this is my first truck as well.
