MyLink keeps switching to phone

Hoping someone has had the same issue and can help me fix it. I have an issue where even if I am listening to an FM station or XM radio it switches to my iPhone music anytime I unlock my phone to look at it. This is very annoying as I have to switch back every time only to have it switch back the next time I unlock my phone.

I am having the same issue. When I listen to XM and take a phone call after which I hang up, the radio begins playing music from my iphone instead of returning to XM. What I have found on other sites & this one is this is an iphone issue not a mylink issue. That being said I have not found a remedy to fix the problem hopefully a fix is done soon, this is very annoying.

That is a issue with the iPhone and not the infolink system. You can thank Apple for that and the fact they refuse to follow normal BT protocols.

Mine has recently starting this as well. When I hang up my phone it goes into my Bluetooth radio and not back to my fm/xm radio. I hope we find a solution for this issue. It's annoying.

I just came here to post this same issue too. So this is on Apple and not GM? So there is hope it might get resolved? Haha. Yeah so when anyone with an iPhone is riding with me, it will switch over to their phone even if not paired!! Pain in the arse.

Having the same issue with my 2016, it's driving me crazy. Not to happy about it but I just disconnected the Bluetooth all together.

Lol once again apple releases an update it messed up consumers phones. This whole idea where everything from apple has to be proprietary is such an announance. And it only gets worse as time goes on.

Same problem with my '15 after updating to iOS 9.2. I should have known better. Once this is resolved (hopefully) I won't update until it's been tested.

Supposedly iOS 9.2.1 was going to have a fix, but I just downloaded the 9.2.1 public beta and I'm still having the same problems.

This is an Apple iOS 9.2 specific problem and it is plaguing just about ALL auto audio systems with BT. I think I heard that one Mercedes system isn't bothered by the bug.

My solution is that I'm going back to Android. I'm tired of Apple no only SCREWING UP this kind of stuff, but giving us users ZERO customization of how the features work.

This morning I turned off Siri and things seems to be working as they did prior to the update.

I know we're not supposed to text and drive, but I've also noticed that when replying to a facebook message while on XM will change it to BT mode automatically. While we can all blame Apple for the iPhone not allowing normal BT protocols, we should be blaming GM for making the mylink automatically switch between the two as soon as it hears sound from the BT source... Annoying.
