I installed the McGaughys 33037 Rear Lowering Shackles. One thing to note is that you will need to remove the tow hitch and bend a seam on the truck bed. To get the level look you will need 3' I installed 2' the truck still has a rake of 1'

I don't remember why, but I had to drop my hitch as well when I did it.

Not 100% level, but close enough where I am okay with it haha.

Also lowered my headlights afterwards.

Did the hitch go back on after install?  Reading Belltech's instructions on their 5-6 flip kit, it went back on after everything else was done.

Yes it went back on.

If I remember right it just had to be removed to get one of the bolts out of the shackle. Went back on when complete.

Ok good. If the tow hitch was lost, no way my dad would do this. He was talking to me about lowering rear rather than raising front, but I know he wants the tow hitch to stay.

We were close to buying a 28' camper and one of the things i'd want to confirm is the drop shackle was rated to handle the load of a good amount of bed weight and the towing weight. I'm sure it is, but I remember it not being as stout as the factory shackle I took out.

Which ones did you get?

I just did my truck as well and removed the blocks  and it came out almost level. Slight rake in the rear.
