As someone else has stated that black bear tune is the stuff to get. Now if your iffy about voiding your warranty, like I am, an AFM range device will suffice until that point. All it does it trick the ECM into thinking the truck is under too much of a load to allow v4 mode to activate. But it does not program the ECM so it cannot void your factory warranty. Big deal to me but not to everyone. I have noticed my truck shifts allot better with the AFM device on. I believe the biggest issues with these trucks are the AFM... Hope this helps

Ok, so I've been driving in M5/6 for several months now and the trans issues have gotten worse. Sometimes when accelerating from a stop, not even all that hard, the truck seems to struggle with what gear it's supposed to be in. When accelerating and decelerating frequently, IE: going up a long, windy hill with sharp turns, it seems to get really confused as to what gear it should be in. The usual crap with slowly accelerating up a hill and having it struggle to find a gear, with minor lurches when it shifts, and letting off the gas and slowing to a stop, with the downshift from 2nd to 1st almost stopping the truck is still annoying as shit. This thing should be shifting like a hot knife through butter.

 

I may just take it to the dealership and see what they can do, although, from what I've seen on here they're usually not too helpful.
