There is a TSB for this. It helps a little but still doesn't get the volume low enough. Ask your dealer about it -- it needs to be done by a Tech with the laptop hooked up.

Guy came into our shop yesterday with a 2017 Chevy High Country

 

I've never seen optional, production, GM power folding running boards...... That also has a hidden switch (in the end) to also power fold the running boards rear-ward, to the bed!!

 

Pretty cool. This helps your reach the front area of the bed!!

 

Anyways, I've never seen these before.

I love it most of the time but we've all fought that damn thing like a savage when you're trying to just get it up or down a little bit and accidentally over push or pull. UP......DOWN......UUUUUPPPPP.....DOWN.....UP....SH!T!!!! [emoji23][emoji23]

I, albeit embarrassingly, wish it had more of the options Ford has. My buddy just bought an F150 Platinum, it was surprisngly VERY nice.

 

One touch up windows.

Panoramic glass roof.

Blind spot monitor.

Tailgate pop with the key fob.

Front camera in the grille.

 

GM options I wish we had.

Adaptive cruise control.

Auto wipers.

Center console fridge.

HUD.

Rear seat hvac controls and vents.

 

I know, all these are snooty gadgets, But a Denali should come with them, at least as available options.

 

Truth be told, I love my truck, and I'm keeping it for the long haul, but there's some room for improvement on GM's part...

Yup, it's total bullshit that my wife's '16 Yukon Denali has so many of these options, but I couldn't get them on my '17 1500 Denali...

I don't care that it's a truck, I drive the shit out of it, and those would make me enjoy it even more!

Good example of many of the "wishes" in this thread. The manufacturer equips their vehicles in a manner to maximize sales and profits. It is often a case of priorities. If Ford, for example, has a list of preferred features you can't find on a GM then make this known by buying a Ford. I really want a manual transmission but would have to go with a 3/4 ton RAM diesel to get one. RAM is my least favorite truck for reasons that are greater than my passion for a manual. However, a manual offered in a Ford 1/2 ton would definitely challenge my current preference for Sierras and Silverados!

Wish my 2016 Sierra had a door lock on the passenger door.

 

Base Model....no keyfob. Pain in the ass to unlock the drivers door and hit the door unlock when you want the passenger door open.

 

Should be some kind of Federal Motor Vehicle Standard requiring a way to unlock the dang door from the outside.

 

Anything goes wrong with the drivers door lock....you are SOL and aint getting in the truck.....nice GM....

I wish the truck has a pano roof, definitely has the space for it. Also the rear window, if it would open up like some of the Toyota Tundra's it would be awesome. The small slide power window is tiny.
