Part fell out of my tranny

Wile I was replacing the transmission oil and filter, a small plastic clip fell into the drain pan. I have no idea where it came from but it would seem to be needed. I viewed several videos on 4L60-E transmission repair, but I didn't see any mention of the clip. Right now reverse works fine, only crawls along when put in any forward gear. Anybody know where that clip goes? Is it even a part of the tranny?

I haven't taken apart a transmission in a long while... or change the filter. I have to change my 2002 Blazer filter soon. Hope I don't have a clip fall....
