Dashboard gauges and radio don't illuminate and truck won't st

I’m having the same issue, but my truck will start. Any advice? I brought this on myself when I put my new radio in. I removed the CD player and when I reinstalled the CD player it caused the dash and radio to have no display.

I’d start by going back and making sure everything was plugged in nice and tight. After that, I’d disconnect the negative terminal and also check fuses to make sure everything is good there too.
